it's an over-exaggeration to claim an entire country hates a character. Yes, there is significant part of chinese fanbase hates Obito, but some like him too.
It's not because of what Obito did, it's because of the motivations. Nagato's motivations are way more understandable then Obito. He's just a poorly written character
@@Cho0segoose not really, obito’s motivation is just as understandable as nagato’s, because rin’s death (at the hands of his best friend), he realized that the world is full of shit and shits can happen anytime and anywhere, so he decide to hop onto the plan to create a world that none of these shits will ever exist. Yet for some reason, people think obito’s motivation is just “rin is dead” when it’s not
