Great video once again! I've been enjoying your amazing videos for about a year now, but your message today was the kick in the pants I needed to join you on Patreon. I have had many, many happy days on Alberta trout rivers and streams in the past and while I no longer live near those waters, I get to fish them again in my head every time you folks post a new video.
Thank you for this note :) And it's great to hear. We hear from a LOT of people that they've learned so much and enjoyed our videos... yet we barely break even for 5 days of work, so it's great when we hear dedication to support from folks like you. Thank you. Dave
What a slab, simply awesome. Great video and content!
Love these waters and location 😍🥰
Hi guys. Im a concreter from here in New Zealand & when starting out on the rivers i really watched your videos in awe. Love your guys style and approach. Also getting the chance to feel like the 3rd man on the missions. I learnt a tonne, if not everything so thanks. Might see you on the river
That's all awesome to hear and glad you enjoy what we do and share. It's neat to be able to expand on the videos with other concepts such as the full version of things on this one. And sharing in manner to out you there with us... that's our hope and intent so glad that comes through! 😊 and thank you for the support!
Beautiful video and beautiful river
100% to that! Love the landscape :)
Been there and done it. Actually caught a 10lb Salmon there. Freaked me out when I saw this big black mouth open up an inhale my fly. Pig Trough, slept there one night. Good work, love your vids. Cheers mate
It can be a wonderful bit of water or a barren wasteland depending on how hot & dry the drought gets to be. Gorgeous country! :)
What a wonderful session and so beautifully captured! I hope you realise what a wonderful environment and conditions you have on your doorstep. A 4hr drive to fish in a creek 1/4 that size for fish 1/8th that size would be standard fare here...and only to see 2 fish all day haha
Hi and thank you, glad you enjoyed this. This certainly isn't at our doorstep as we travel a looong distance to film this and then specifically traveled many hours to set this video up to the topic of warm water as we share in the full hr production at our Patreon channel as you saw in the video 🙂 www.patreon.com/jensenflyfishing/about
Beautiful video, cheers friends.
Thank you! Cheers!
I enjoy your videos Team. Is that the dreaded Diddimo weed infesting this lovely stream?
Really enjoy your spotting commentary.
Clean lines Team. 😉 Ooops! Tight Lines
Oh, yeah. It's in there solid for 12 yrs anyway. Didymo's a funny bugger by now. It has to be laying in wait in most waters now, about waiting for continued habitat changes due to floods, drought, ag withdrawals and other. Funny how a minor flip of a switch in habitat comes it opens streams to new things - not always good ones. But, the fish continue... for now :)
Love your Patreon content!!!! ❤
Thank you Angie! Some great stuff coming down the pipe - just wrapped a long-form vid that we love and puts you right there :)
Is that didymo on the water?
yes, heaps
@@jensenflyfishing That’s a shame!
What happens to the trout during the hot summer months that the fishing isn't good? Do the trout migrate into a lake or does the stream get too weedy?
As we discuss in the write up to the video and in the video, this is a snippet of the whole production as available at our digital membership, where we share the full video and the producers' notes... www.patreon.com/jensenflyfishing/about Trout can move to springs, move to larger/deeper water and flows or simply shut down, glued to a rock for weeks on end. We look at specifically that in the full version of this video at the link. Cheers.
@@jensenflyfishing Thank you, I'll check it out.
спасибо за видео, как обычно - очень интересно
great to hear! :)
