I’m so confused- you said in the video not to use a house line inside. I thought it’s best for puppy’s when training to use a harness and line indoors to get them used to it
The best way to get them used to it is as we talked about in the video: desensitization and taking things slow. When you are not working on this process with your puppy, a puppy pen is the safest place for them or in certain areas of your house blocked with a gate.
I absolutely love all your videos. Because Daisy is a Puglet and built like a Sherman tank, I have tried many different styles of harnesses on her. I am still not sure which one works best for her. It's an ongoing process. :)
Different puppies and puppy body types definitely work better with different type harnesses! Great job working with her with different styles to find the best for her. It will pay off in the long run!
You can use a collar for the training games, but anytime you are out with your dog on a leash, especially a long leash, the harness is best to protect the dog's neck and spine.
You might want to check the credentials of the other trainers. Look for a "fear free certification" for the most up to date and positive training methods.
Thanks for watching! 🐶 How's it going with your puppy's harness? Do you have any questions?

Plural of puppy is PUPPIES. Not puppy's.
Thanks. That's great! 😊
You're welcome!

Husband thinks harnesses are not good for training, but I feel they are necessary for dogs safety.

@@HowToTrainADreamDog thank you. Our new 4 month old puppy is teaching us a lot.
This channel contradicts EVERY SINGLE LESSON/TIPS/TRICKS I've watched from other TH-cam dog training channels. So confusing.
