I just put the jars in the water bath canner! You saved Christmas! My sister loves Christmas Jam. We go to the Amish country every year and she purchases some to last. This year, she’s doing clinicals, and I’m traveling for work, so we won’t make it. Figured I’d make her some. Thanks for the easy directions! Merry Christmas 🎄
@@MsNelson341 this warms my heart! I hope it turns out as good as her Amish favorite. Thank you for blessing me with your kind words! Merry Christmas to you too!
@@JohnChesterBrady thank you! I have never tried to double the recipe before. Doubling jam recipes can get a little bit tricky with pectin. If you try to double it, I would put a spoon in the freezer and test the jam on the back of a cold spoon. If it doesn’t separate when you run your finger down the back of the spoon, cook it a tiny bit longer. I would definitely try a single recipe your first time around.
@@lifeonthehill316 Thanks for your quick response to my questions, I'll try the single recipe as you suggested... Have a wonderful and blessed holiday season...
@@suzyvance7328 thank you so much for your feedback! I have had some health difficulties this year and am definitely planning to make more videos. I have my next video filmed and will edit and post soon. It’s so encouraging to see comments like this. It means more than you know. Thank you! ❤️

Delicious! Delicious! I yielded 9 1/2 pints and if I had more room in my canner, probably 2 more 1/2 pints. Thank you...
Looks fantastic! I’m going to make this next week!

Did I miss it? What size jars did you use? 4oz? Sorry I’m new to canning.
