I'm a Tennessee fan and I'm honestly worried about this game. Arkansas is so close to being 5-0. And they have really good players and coaches and great fans!!. The main thing I look at is how easily Tennessee handled Iowa in last year's bowl game.... Nico's first start. For that reason, I'm thinking this year's team is for real, and could go far. We'll see!

The Pros: enjoy Sam Pittman his attitude his knowledge of all types of football in general plus he is really one of those GOOD GUYS type coach also like the way that he relates to the players.. the Cons: his knowledge of all football he needs to keep closer to his chest..we just learned more about Arkansas weakness than it's strengths..we just can replay this press conference over and over to most definitely figure out Saturdays whole game plan..he is probably one of the best OL coach in CFB not so much as a Head Coach because he isn't the CEO type of person which is what is needed in 2024 to be an efficient CFB Head Coach..he is in over his head as an SEC Head Coach in 2024 but will still make an elite head coach in another good conference probably one of the other big ones..BUT if he decides to still stay coaching in CFB maybe he goes back to OL coach and assistant head coach position..we definitely would welcome him back to UTK if decides to take a step back just to stay within the SEC 😮😊

I doubt Heupel would want to show him his schemes. He seems very tight liped on that offense. Sam is a really good O-line coach. It sure sounds like he's all about Tennessee.
I really love hearing the coaches talk so well about the opponent they're going to face. I know they have ot understand their opponents, but it's just really nice to hear. Josh said the same thing on Arkansas and specifically spoke about how well QB is at making something out of nothing and that we'll need to make sure we contain him.

Sam is realizing his team talent is lackluster for SEC play, not as bad as last year, but same same. We won't run the ball enough, Bobby is a great Coach, & knows how to win with a subpar Missouri State team. Sam has to trust Bobby, Bobby has to push the option run pass game, not pro style O, Tennessee has to make a lot of mistakes, this is the only way a win happens. Otherwise I predict 14-42 loss for the hogs that will be close until the 3rd quarter. But Taylon is not Ryan Mallett (RIP), but he can be much closer to it next year, if he has an option run with ability pass he has chance because the pocket will crumble, if they run up the middle, & pocket pass expect 9 sacks minimum, and sub 100 yards rushing total.

I don’t think there is a team in the SEC that has OLine depth and I’m not trolling or joking either. Tennessee’s 2 starting tackles were out against OU which led to two strip sacks and us running the clock out in the second half. Thankfully our defense is competent this season.
Tennessee's football program was in the dump not too long ago coming off of Jeremy Pruitt's tenure and Heupel turned things around real quick. It's amazing what can happen when you make the correct head coaching hire.

Class guy and one of the best o-line coaches to step on a football field. Great recruiter. Bringing Arkansas back into better shape this year. Hope he makes it long term at Arkansas. This league needs people like this in head jobs.

No tight end depth and no O-line depth. Sam you set this program back so much I don't know if the next coach can dig out of the hole you are in.
I don’t think there is a team in the SEC that has OLine depth and I’m not trolling or joking either. Tennessee’s 2 starting tackles were out against OU which led to two strip sacks and us running the clock out in the second half. Thankfully our defense is competent this season.
Tennessee's football program was in the dump not too long ago coming off of Jeremy Pruitt's tenure and Heupel turned things around real quick. It's amazing what can happen when you make the correct head coaching hire.
Tennessee was mediocre program for a long time, well before Pruitt. They went through several coaches and finally found a guy that works.
