You nailed it, Trey. The offensive line is still terrible. THAT is the biggest problem. They can not move defenders off the line to run block or provide a consistent pocket for any QB to make plays.

Trey you are right they aren’t undefeated coming off BYE weeks, (8:02 mark in video) but they didn’t have a BYE before the Georgia game in 2021. They did however lose to Texas A&M and Missouri coming off BYE weeks during the 2020 season. Since then however they are undefeated coming off BYE weeks.
Talent Green is bad even when the oline pass pro well. Watch DJ Williams breakdown an look at how many open receivers he miss. He looks at his 1st opinion then he runs around. The oline is terrible but he has Tesla open numerous time an he didn't even look his way. We finally get a good defense an the Qb/Oline sucks. TENNESSEE 48-10.
I don’t think he is all that bad but he does miss his open receivers and does need to work on accuracy. But at the same time petrino sees something in him and I think later this year or next year he’ll be real good

VFL here. UT got things to prove still. Nico needs to have a good SEC road game. Can our O line hold up? Can we play in bad weather? However, Arkansas O line is terrible. When Bobby was head coach we had a great offense, and a above average rest of team. With Pittman, our o line is so awful which is total opposite of a Bobby coached team. The one thing sam supposedly did was o line and they're frekin terrible. Im almost certain sam wont be back. Which blows the whole thing up. 😭🐗🐗

Green causes a lot of the pressure by not moving up in the pocket and constantly rolling back away from your protection. Its impossible for a tackle to hold that block on those angles. Not saying the line is good but thats part of the problem

Im a vols fan, and im worried about this arkansas game more than anyone we have played so far. Arkansas is better than any team we have played so far this year, and our O-line sucks. Our O-line isn't going to be able to compete with real SEC teams unless they get better. Our offense, in general, has to get a lot better, quick!!! Or arkansas is going to embarrass us.

The lack of home games in Fayetteville is not a valid reason to be bad on a yearly basis due to the fact that the U of A signed a contract to play in Arlington and signed a contract to play in Little Rock. That’s two games a year that they decided to give up. That is their own fault. They need to work smarter not harder.

If I recall correctly--I do--the Razorbacks used to play HALF their home games at War Memorial Stadium every year back in the 60's. How did playing "on the road" in Little Rock affect Arkansas' performance? 1964: 11-0 record, NCAA National Champions; 1968, 10-1 record, No. 5 national ranking; 1969, 9-2 record, No. 12 national ranking. Playing in Little Rock didn't seem to be a problem. I wouldn't mind having won-loss records like that again.

What is this obsession with bringing Odom here as HC? He was unimpressive at Missouri as HC, losing both his bowl game appearances. He also gave us one of the worst defenses in the country when he was our DC in 2022.
I say about 34-24 Tenn. Arkansas is still fighting and competitive now, but it's only a matter of time before the losses pile up and the team's effort will start to lag. The team will likely quit and you'll start to see blowout losses like last year vs Aub and Mizzou.

They are a good run blocking team. They just need to get better at pass blocking. This could happen quickly if we used the kiss method.
