Still some of the best content on TH-cam. And Daddy Ben please word vomit all you want, one of the things I love about these series is that we get to see the game masters ongoing thoughts in how to manage the game.
I absolutely agree. In fact, one of my favorite parts is hearing Ben and Tom discuss the days events at the beginning of each night. It offers so much insight into the complete strategy of the game. As a hopeful storyteller when my copy arrives I really appreciate hearing their take.

Did Brooke really take the time to record all the voice lines Sully improvised for sockpuppet-Brooke post-game?! It sounds EXACTLY like her, but the words are so perfectly synced with Sully's mouth movements that I wonder if you applied some amazing audio filter or something. If she did record it all, that's some astounding attention to detail...
Laurie outing Andy as evil and Andy outing Brooke as evil and were both 100% honest lmao interesting play for sure.

Doing something repeatedly you’ll probably find ways to improve, especially if people give tips as I imagine people have.
The man is a straight-faced genius. His delivery adds so much to his words, ESPECIALLY his comedy.
Hearing Ben’s thought process is super helpful as someone who will mostly be storytelling. I’m beyond excited for this game. This the best group to showcase what I think to be one of the best games out there (that’s not out yet 😂)

I’m about 30 min in and the first thing the demon does is a good ole bit instead of giving their minions bluffs, and it’s super smoothly played while hilarious.
Tbf to Andy talking to Laurie wouldn’t have helped, Jon was already witched and Laurie didn’t push particularly hard Jon just decided to nominate
Yeah right? Jon is just too triggered. He would nominate Laurie no matter what. Just unlucky from Andy.
If Sully didn’t exist, this would have made Laurie hands down the greatest NRB personality
Adam is pretty damn charismatic too though.

I can’t help but feel bad for Laurie. He’s one of the best players but he continuously gets screwed by bad luck and people choosing not to believe him. And I seriously don’t understand how Carley almost never gets killed.
Carley is just incredibly good at this game. She likes playing evil. So she's gotten very very good at convincing people not to kill her. And Jon will confirm it always seems like a good ideas to go along with her until it turns out she was evil the whole time and most likely the single most important reason the evil team won.

Thinking about it. I think it could have been a huge brain play for Andy to Witch Laurie. Then tell Laurie to nominate Jon. Because when Jon died (obviously from being Witched) everyone "knew" he was good since one minion wouldn't Witch the other. So they executed the other twin. But executing the good twin would instantly lose the game.
@@travisbic that is honestly a brilliant idea that you came up with. Have never played but desperately want to. I would never have thought of that. As far as Carley, I just don’t understand with all the lore that people are so willing to believe and go along with her. I think she’s been evil more than any other player. I know it’s not fair to go after anyone right away because they’re too good, but Laurie has kind of been targeted for being very good at deduction every game.
Actually it’s usually just Blair not believing him and throwing him under the bus. Blair has the worst gut instinct of any of these players although she has a very strong understanding of the game.
@@11th-lemon I didn't think about the evil twin's ability going away when he dies. I did realize since posting that idea that it was unfeasible because you couldn't do it until the second day because the witch wouldn't know who the other minion was and by that point, you'd be running too much of a risk of giving your team away.

Isaac's stubbornness, and unwillingness to let go of a theory is either brilliant and heroic, or one of the most annoying well poisoning attitudes, no in-between. Love it, (but kind of hate it too)

She is scary good at this, even when nerfed. I’m glad my groups don’t have someone on that level.. she was all over vortox earlier than most, and she has past plays that are good. I note she had a whiteboard out writing… even during the intro.

@@GnarlyCarleyGaming yes, but doodling is the mental gears grinding, and tells me you’re in game mode picking up small things very early!! Probably those things that let you see attitude changes for someone who’s on the other side or little details that let you know when their info is pretty sus. And the notebook being a wreck in the end only confirms how much info you’re pulling in a “small” amount of time! It’s definitely fun to watch you (and everyone else!) play and see you putting things together!!!

I had never seen these Blood on the Clocktower vids until about 3 days ago. Went and binged all of them. What an amazing group, amazing game, and amazing storytellers. Love each and every one of these vids.

Laurie's response is almost identical to mine as a minion killed night 2 in my last game. I through my demon under the bus and everyone said "it can't be him, why would his minion do that"

Same. I think in his mind he meant she would have had to get Isaac which would have removed the protection and given Dom bad info.

IMO the Night 1 information made it a little too obvious that it was a Vortox game. Empath & Chef information can't both be true. I like giving the Chef a 2, that's a great way to make Chef more interesting. Empath should have been given a zero. It both would have protected the Demon and supported the Chef without raising obvious Vortox alarm bells.
I understand the logic that if you give the Empath a zero and the town figures out it's a Vortox, then the Empath is going to push on both neighbors. But at least make town figure it out first! Don't hand them an incompatible mess of info that screams Vortox.
This comment is just an appreciation of how good Carley can be at social deduction games, it's insane!

Carly is hands down individually the best BotC-player. It seems that from the start she was already five steps ahead of the rest, glueing the pieces together while in the process teaching some of the rules to Isaac, which made them collect the victory. :D
Best for the NRB players certainly. But Ben, Edd and Kat from the pandemonium institute official vids are all a cut above even her. The game where Ben gets 1st day executed as evil and does what Laurie tried but better. *chefs kiss*

There's the good team, the bad team and then there's Adam, the chaotic third party. 😄 Love this series, everyone is amazing and it's really awesome hearing Ben's thought process and insight into the inner workings of the game.

I don’t get why Ben kept saying that Brooke should kill Dom on the last night - he’d already been protected by the Monk? (ie. shielded from Vortox misinfo, and shielded from Vortox kills?)

He probably forgot because there was so much discussion of the monk protecting from bad info, that the monk is also just a good way to not die.
The actual best kill for Brooke would’ve probably been Isaac, since then Dom would get more bad info, probably just another 2

It was not a blockbuster of epic proportions like the echelon of BOTC episodes you have accustom us to, but a really funny and entertaining episode nonetheless. It shows that you can convert a mild game into funny content. Looking forward for next month, hopefully we get to see some Custom Scripts with experimental characters (anything but the Heretic, please).

Just started watching and Trouble with Violets is tough on the good team. Good thing Carly is on the good team because that’s their best chance of winning.
It's tougher on the evil team to be honest. No Imp, so the demon can't peace out if they're in trouble. No Scarlet Woman, so there's zero safety net.

I believe I have seen every NRB video and I believe Andy is new. I genuinely want to know how everyone knows Adam and I wish they would make that clear.

This is my second watch of this episode, and I still can't wrap my head around Andy's plays here. Either way, I want a reality show with Brooke, Sully and Dom even more now after a second viewing.
