Thank you so much you just helped me to save money on changing my water pump in my f10 with n 47 engine 😊
You are welcome buddy. Glad I was able to help with my video. This is exactly why I create this content to allow people to fix their own cars and save money, but also be sure it is done and done right🤝🏻
Fantastic video, really appreciate the break down :)
You are welcome. I have a lot of content on the N57 engine. Many thanks for watching
Excellent video 👌where are you located?
@@keeef23 Northern Ireland. Thanks for watching
Very glad to see another video again😊
This is a problem you always see in BMW's😅 Glad I now know how to do it correctly👌
Thanks buddy, both water pump and connector were leaking slowly, it was the right time to change these. Appreciate your support and glad you are enjoying the content🤝🏻
Hi Keen Mechanic,
I got charged 580 for exhaust manifold replacement, 200 for injector seals replacement and 200 for rocker cover gaskets replacement, is this an okay figure or did I get ripped off? How could my rocker cover gaskets go after the rocker cover's been changed 30,000 miles ago with the timing chain as it's part of the job? Thank you.
It is difficult working on these engines due to their design. Can't comment on the prices you have been charged as I don't know if this includes the parts and labour or just for labour. If it includes parts it is actually a good price. What I will recommend it to invest in some tools and follow my videos and do it yourself. Buy the manuals I have linked in the description and you will find it very easy. You will be slower than a garage but at least you will know it is done right and you will only pay for the parts. It is a bit too early to see a leak after 30k miles but nothing surprises me anymore to be honest🤝
Do you think this is possible without removing the engine? I have the N57 but seeing this video makes me think i wont be able to do it
You will be able to do it with the engine in the car. It will be more difficult but totally doable🤝🏻
I have a problem with my bmw f01 740d just happened overheating up to about 110 under load when stationary 95 c just change thermostat helped for about week fans are running high again temp over 100c any help pls
@@romanwielogorski929 Hard to help from far away. You need to ask someone local buddy. I hope you get it sorted

@@XKsavX666 It could be the belt too. Hard to tell to be honest unless you are beside the car🤝🏻
@@TheKeenMechanic i will have to do a cold start with hood open to know for sure . is N47D20C engine BMW f11 520d SE 2011 model
