    Hi Keen Mechanic,
I got charged 580 for exhaust manifold replacement, 200 for injector seals replacement and 200 for rocker cover gaskets replacement, is this an okay figure or did I get ripped off? How could my rocker cover gaskets go after the rocker cover's been changed 30,000 miles ago with the timing chain as it's part of the job? Thank you.

It is difficult working on these engines due to their design. Can't comment on the prices you have been charged as I don't know if this includes the parts and labour or just for labour. If it includes parts it is actually a good price. What I will recommend it to invest in some tools and follow my videos and do it yourself. Buy the manuals I have linked in the description and you will find it very easy. You will be slower than a garage but at least you will know it is done right and you will only pay for the parts. It is a bit too early to see a leak after 30k miles but nothing surprises me anymore to be honest🤝

Do you think this is possible without removing the engine? I have the N57 but seeing this video makes me think i wont be able to do it

You will be able to do it with the engine in the car. It will be more difficult but totally doable🤝🏻
