- During a Tuesday press briefing, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller faced questions regarding the delay in determining Israel's bombing of Iran's consulate.
Miller underscored the need for sufficient information before making a determination. Journalist Matt Lee pointed out the swift condemnation of the Mexican embassy invasion in Ecuador, questioning the inconsistency. Despite pressure, Miller refrained from providing further response, stating they “continue to gather information.”

He knows, and everyone knows, its an embassy building, but he gently asks if they have determined if it was an embassy building, following the government narrative. He should ask directly, ' are you going to condemn the attack on the Iranian embassy?'.

Then a few minutes more to determine whether an ambassadors residence is considered to be a part of his country's embassy.
