Wow...don't think I've ever hit the subscribe bell so quick. This additional channel is GOLD and appreciated. You have been inspiring me since last year. Thank you Tino. Really looking forward to a tutorial on nubuck and suede restoration.
I really want to experiment with shoe creams but it can get expensive. Since you have to get so many colors. Maybe if you can do a video on the best (most common) colors to start out with.
Hello Tino. Glad to see you back. Question: What, if anything, do you do to prep the insides of shoes, i.e., to remove odors, dirt, or to recondition leather there?
Thank you for your knowledge, you help a lot people. I was wondering if there is something I can apply to rubber type heels to make them shiny again. Example women’s Clark’s shoes?
Love your videos Tino! You've inspired me to start reselling shoes and your videos have been an absolute treasure. What do you use to sanitize the insides of the shoes?
woo hoo, so glad to see you again. Question for you. When I get shoes with scuffs I try to polish them but I can never seem to get that scratch or scuff marks out. Also if I have a pair that has a patch that is missing polish I cant seem to make that bald spot go away. Happens more on burgundy colors. What am I doing wrong?
A lot of it will depend on the type of leather. Some leather is more Porous than others. Some leather has to go through a thorough treatment just to dye it. Could just be that type of leather.
Hi Tino. I'm new here. That's a heck of job. I'm impressed!!! I want to ask, where do you find your shoes? I live in Kentucky and I don't find that many shoes.
Question: I’m guessing you wouldn’t spend so much time on shoes in the $25-30 range like these Eccos.... For what price-range shoes would you do it? Or, maybe you do it for all shoes as long as you do many of them at once? It would be great to see a video from you making this on a large scale, authentically, as you do it regularly for your eBay sure. Great to see new content from you!
Great video Tino! What are the shoe mounts? Those are fantastic!! How long does the saddle soap need to dry on the shoe? Thanks for sharing your expertise!
Sue Arnone it shoeshineexpress.com/products/heavy-duty-shoe-and-boot-holder If you wait for the saddle soap to soak in, you have to let them dry, or what some people do is wipe the saddle soap immediately after applying it to the shoe.
Just a simple question, but was just wondering how you get sharpie and grease pens off the bottom of dress shoes. I don’t want to ruin the bottom of mine and want to know the correct way to do it first. They’re AE Park Avenue’s. Thanks for the awesome content by the way! I love all your videos!
The leather sole will absorb the sharpie making it impossible to remove the markings. I would suggest using a fine grit sanding block if it is a light mark. You may want to paint the sole with "Walk on" paint after a light sanding. Please becareful of sanding as it will put more wear onto the sole. "Walk On" paint that I use. - amzn.to/2WTPsrQ (select black for men's dress shoes )
If I am looking for a nice shine, I will use the cream. The cream will also add more color in the leather. The Dr Marten's Balsam is a great conditioner that usually darkens the leather as it conditions.
Good idea, show us your ancient knowledge, Italians in Latinoamerica create the industry of shoe restoration and makers of the very best brands of dress shoes, for women, men and children.
I love your channel! you give very detailed instructions. FYI if its helpful, This wouldn't count as ASMR since you are talking. If you want to do ASMR videos I recommend you only whisper :)
No need to rinse the saddle soap. Wipe it off with a rag and some properties of the saddle soap will remain on the leather. Great for conditioning. I recommend letting it dry before adding any other applications.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💥💥💥💥 yay! I’m so happy to see an updated cleaning video. I always learned the most from your cleaning videos. I feel like there’s so much to learn when it comes to cleaning shoes there’s different products and ways to make them so much more profitable as you know. Thank you so much for posting this. I agree with you. I come across a lot of shoes. I used these shoes to show others what can be done to make a pair look much better. There are a lot of people that might find a pair of shoes at a thrift store and not know that the shoes can look a lot better with some TLC. Not necessarily to flip and money, but to clean them for themselves.
Ecco shoes, fall apart as they continue to use garbage soles that disintegrate into a tar like goo. That happens even if you keep them in a box and have only worn them once.
Hello Peter. ecco soles are made of a material that provided comfort. I believe it is polyurethane. This type of sole requires it to be worn on a regular basis. I have seen many used ecco soles crumble. I also have had my ecco's for a couple years now, with no issues. If you find a pair of pre-owned ecco's you will want to bend them to check for cracking and resistance. If the sole bends freely without any resistance, this is a sign that the soles do not have much life left. I have heard that ecco has changed the way they make their soles to prevent this going forward. You may want to stay away from older ecco models for this very reason.
I have been missing these videos so much, thank you so much for taking the time to make them for us.
Thank you for your feedback Harley!
Good to see you back. Can you post a link to the wall shoe holders? Been looking for one but no luck. Thanks Tino.

Hi Tino! It's great to see you back on TH-cam, sharing your vast knowledge of shoes! Thank you!!!
Thank you!!
So helpful! I took you advise and now sell mostly shoes! I love how easy to photo, list and ship! 💕
Hi Tino, welcome back! I am so happy your are back.
Very helpful, thanks for putting time and dedication in this video!
Amazing job. I hope you make a video on white or light tan leather shoes. It seems harder to erase scratches off light leather. Thank you
Amazing content and info thanks Tino cheers from AZ!
Oh and this reminds me of my grandfather when I was a little girl. He did this to his dress shoes every Saturday.
That's awesome!!
Great video! Do you have any plans to do a video on simple repair such as scuffs and minor separating of the sole
Thank you! I plan to make those videos.
Just curious, what's that device name that you hook the shoe up too?
Everyone wants to know and he never tells! Must be his trade secret:)
Great stuff! I use angelus saddle soap and Allen Edmonds saddle soap. I’m willing to try out the the saddle soap you mention. 👍🏼👞🌟❤️
Which one is your favorite?
So far angelus saddle soap but I’m willing to try bickmore saddle soap soon

We all want to know: Where do we get the device for holding the shoes. It's the only thing not linked lol.
You can buy them in all good shoe shops.
Any cobbler should know.
Just subbed, awesome tutorial, thanks for sharing 😊
Any advice on cleaning permanent marker off rubber soles?
Great video, thanks! How long does it typically take you to clean a shoe like this?
Brian, this does not require a lot of time. I usually speed clean, polish shoes like this in less than 5 minutes.

Awesome Video & Info - Thank you! Where did you find those great wall mounted shoe holders?
Found them on the internet. I will look for the website I purchased them from.
Just google Shoe Shine wall mount

Thank you!! This is the exact same model I use. Nando Shines, do you use this model?

but anyways, I am not an ASMR fan and im not here for that lol, im here for learning how to overhaul my shoes
what are the shoe polish you been using ?
I use the Saphir and Tarrago brand. Tarrago is a bit cheaper but does a great job. I recommend the Tarrago if you are shining shoes every day.
Satisfying 🤙

Clarks do the very same thing. The soles crumble to pieces. I do not buy Clarks anymore.
