What An Insane Serial Killer Looks Like...

  • In three different states, multiple missing persons cases were filed for people who visited National Forests, but didn’t return home. Investigators soon figured out that the disappearances weren’t by way of weather conditions, or going off-course. The people who had seemingly vanished from the outside world, were discovered to have had their lives taken, at the hands of serial killer Gary Hilton.
What should have been a fun day out for these nature-lovers, would unknowingly, be their last day on earth. The 4-and-a-half hour long interrogation of this twisted killer unravels the chilling events that took place between 2007 and 2008.
Welcome or welcome back to Twisted Minds, my name is James, and today we’re going to be delving deep into the case of Gary Hilton.

Happened to a friend of mine too. It's a shame that so many of us has restrictions on who we can see so we don;t have options when we encounter bad practitioners. In her case there was only one guy responsible for non-adult diagnoses and treatment, and he would never consider (or admit) that he had been wrong, despite her auditory hallucinations never going away. The idiot prescribed lithium and wouldn't reconsider despite her racking up probably close to a dozen hospitalizations just because she wanted the voices to stop. Other doctors also missed or ignored other crucial things, screwing her over permanently because the damage done is never going heal, but those aren't really relevant to the mental illness issue.

    • @jackchop1576

Nobody gives a fuck about mental illness. Not the government, not the population, nobody cares unless they become affected by it. They send us to doctors that make more in a week than we make in a year, just for them to throw pills at us and say "good luck." A few of us make it out, most of us die alone and unknown, and a select few end up like this monster. I say monster, because as someone that made it out, I never once considered harming another soul, only myself.
But nobody cares. And nobody ever will, unless it affects them. So we throw these folks in prison instead of hospitals, then act outraged when they re-offend. You've taught them nothing but to trust nobody and survive at any cost, and proactive violence is safety. Not exactly conducive for re-entry to society...

At the 40:33 mark, "The nurse's body was found decapitated in the Apalachicola National Forest after she went missing..." Well, I would have assumed it was after she went missing. Because it would have been hard to miss a nurse making her rounds without a head!! LOL!!!

James, your channel is extremely well done and very professional. I am so glad it’s back and enjoy it immensely. But I have to say, these common mispronunciations make it seem more amateur. Please take this as a positive criticism. And when you are unsure of a word, it takes 10 seconds to ask Google ‘How do I pronounce Macon?’ etc.
And for the record, it’s May-Cun🤨

I have a genuine question. The clips that you guys use (like the old couple hiking), are they from stock or do you record them? You always use pretty accuarate clips with the cases that are being described

As others have said a very accurate video with a well-spoken young man, THANK YOU. It is a pleasure to view your videos. As for this aggressive killer and all others WHY do they fear death but will almost gleefully give it to innocent individuals? In many cases I agree that incarceration is probably more preferrable to the death sentence. Allowing them to "rot in prison" rather than get the easy way out, death sentence, is preferable to killers in general but I expect it is really the fear of meeting the Devil himself the they fear or suffering pergatory. Neither one is a welcome end to have to face!

Despite committing a violent crime at a very young age, the guy managed to pursue normal relationships and hold jobs for much of his life. I don’t think the blame should be placed on police not looking into this homeless person more closely. Instead the question should be why he didn’t get proper treatment and how he ended up homeless, despite seeking help and personal efforts to hold onto employment and normal life.
Childhood or mental illness doesn’t define person’s future. But their everyday life and surrounding circumstances are the gravity defining their path. It’s easy to imagine few different supporting structures being the difference between bit weird guy fixing roofs for living, and a homeless murderer who has given up on life and morality.
If they could and would carry their moral responsibility with help, but can’t without, doesn’t that mean we as wider society are the only one who truly made a decision when not providing that help?
