Same here. Super happy with my i20n purchase 3 months ago. Totally enjoyable everyday and in different conditions. Doesn't mean I have anything against the fiesta of course. Just happy there are a couple of different flavours to pick between now. People should focus on that.
This is the conclusion I came to before buying my i20n. I knew the ST would be more sideways more often, but as you can only really hammer a car on track days, the fact the i20n is quicker round a twisty track, keeps it’s warranty, has the exhaust note which isn’t faked as much in the cockpit and when driving on the road is the one which looks more mental/like a hot hatch, I went with it. The caveat was that it has every single toy you could possibly want. Mine cost me €26k in the end which was much less than Ford wanted for a limited version ST.
@@Camarao_Pistola The sound isn’t “fake” in the slightest. There is sod all difference to what you hear outside the car and inside. It’s all the exhaust of course but that’s not “fake”. It’s life won’t be as long as the tunes on the i20 are much more likely to be beefier.
@@Camarao_Pistola it was actually the opposite for me, the fiesta had fewer pops and sounded very unnatural and fake (partly due to the sound being amplified with the speakers in the cabin, hence the car making fake sounds), compared to the i20 with more pops and crackles and a lot better exhaust sound overall.

@ The ST rides better, steers better, gear change is better, it’s size and performance is far better suited to a UK road and you get to use more of its performance more of the time. ST also has way cheaper running costs.
The i20N is MUCH better than the Fiesta. Owned a ST Mk8 for 3 yrs and changed to an i20N 2 month ago. Its superior in nearly everything. Even consumption is about 10% less than in the ST despite its cylinder deactivation 🤷♂️

Hi George, while we didn't actually time the cars because of the conditions, the i20 N was consistently the quicker around a lap. Not surprising at all, but it was interesting that the Hyundai held an advantage even when it had lighter rainfall than the Fiesta. It's a serious bit of kit!

I like the fact that Hyundai has the guts to try to stand out and be different. It should be celebrated. The interior in the Fiesta also looks dated. Thankfully everyone’s taste is different so we don’t have to see the same cars everywhere. Just my opinion, not saying I’m an expert. 🤷🏼♂️
Well as we don't drive on track we all drive on roads, I'd be looking at what car is better on the road rather then track.. if the I20n is good on the track due to its conrer ability's then personally I'd chose that because roads are not straight lines...
