Alot of people use the Jazz neck but very few use the Jazz bridge which a shame because the Jazz bridge is a fantastic pickup especially if you are playing metal but don't want a higher output pickup. It retains clarity under higher gain in a way many other vintage output pickups don't
Sounds like the guitar you want is an SG maybe. Light and thinner but not overly so and All mahagony. Sgs retain that fatter Gibson sound in a lighter package. SGs can sound huge with the right pickups .
