The all new Ford F1 Turbo - 1986

This film features the very first test drives of the first all new Ford F1 engine to be produced since the DFV in 1967, The V6 1.5 litre turbocharged Grand Prix engine. Drivers Alan Jones and Patrick Tambay put it through its paces on a snow-lined test track. There is also an interview with Ford design legend Keith Duckworth talking about the pitfalls in creating a successful race engine.
