Hi Richard, thank you so much for your amazing work. It is helping me a lot to be prepared for my coming interview. Do you have any advice in how to show that i want to set in the position and not intentions to grow beyond? Thing is that I am aware that this hospital take new graduates and bachelors to undertake positions as lab assistants. But many leave the job because there isn’t to much opportunities to grow(for example as a scientist or senior tech), and for instance they "reject" ppl who shows during the recruiting process too much ambitious. Completely the opposite to my situation and goal. I’m qualified for the job and i want to set and be the best in that post, but not intention to be a manager or chief. Is something that I guess can be positive in me to be considered, because I would like to be permanent for them. But I don't know how to transmit it without sounding less ambitious, because I´m seeking to grow and improve, and be really great, but in the post itself. Again, thank you so much Kind regards, Diego

I agree as I was trying to be as truthful as I can possibly be. But just giving light to my strengths and my weaknesses that I work on everyday to make me a better manager and scheduler, keeping my budget more within the range is supposed to be.

I had a job interview last week, I used your tips and I told them that I want more responsibilities. I got the job offer and when I asked them “what made me stand out?” They said that the biggest difference that I had from other interviewers was that I asked for more responsibilities. THANK YOU!

I had a group interview once and did say I was a high achiever and did not say anything negative about former employers. The person that bad - mouthed their previous employers got the job. When asked why I did not get the position I was told I was overqualified and too nice lol!

So I recently started watching your videos. I took notes, I listened intently,and I was ready. But I didn't get the job i was applying for . The interview was a joke. I couldn't apply all the things that I learned from watching, which was all great. I do want to say thank you, you helped me prepare for a important job interview but unfortunately the employer just didn't ask questions. They still want me to work from them but at a lower level. ALthough I was well aeare about many tips from the Video, the 3 ones that I was not aware about made a huge difference. I do not only succeed in one interview after another. I got an interview in about 2 hours, it is a really good opportunity for me and very convenient as my girlfriend works at a school just down the road . A little nervous because I’m competing with 3 other people for the position and I’m more likely the youngest one at 23. If I do good, give a good impression and get the job, I will subscribe.

Can you make a video on what to do if the interviewer is showing a lack of interest in the candidate? For example they aren’t really asking questions and only talking about the company, leaving it to you to talk and ask him questions. I had this happen today from the very beginning of the interview. I noticed it right away and the last time it happened, I did not get an offer.

These are the best videos. I’m preparing for a HUGE job interview that I truly want the role to become an expert in the field to get and can see myself staying with this company now until retirement. I have a difficult question. I was let go from a company but never prepared a great answer. I want to say that it’s well behind me and I’ve grown and learned from it. How do I address something that was so bad by such a bad company that makes it positive. It’s been 5 years and I feel it still plagues me in an interview.

I can verify that in any job interview they won’t ask you a bunch of questions besides do you have your ID and your SSN with you. The most they will probably is ask is what made you want to work here. I watched this before my job interview expecting some of these statements to come out of my now managers mouth when not much was said. Just besides giving him ID, asking a couple questions and bam (Edit) I’m not being hateful but those types of questions are usually used with big time employers. So if it’s fast food or aiding stuff like that you don’t have to worry much about them.

Hi Richard, thank you so much for your amazing work. It is helping me a lot to be prepared for my coming interview.
Do you have any advice in how to show that i want to set in the position and not intentions to grow beyond? Thing is that I am aware that this hospital take new graduates and bachelors to undertake positions as lab assistants. But many leave the job because there isn’t to much opportunities to grow(for example as a scientist or senior tech), and for instance they "reject" ppl who shows during the recruiting process too much ambitious. Completely the opposite to my situation and goal. I’m qualified for the job and i want to set and be the best in that post, but not intention to be a manager or chief. Is something that I guess can be positive in me to be considered, because I would like to be permanent for them. But I don't know how to transmit it without sounding less ambitious, because I´m seeking to grow and improve, and be really great, but in the post itself.

I agree as I was trying to be as truthful as I can possibly be. But just giving light to my strengths and my weaknesses that I work on everyday to make me a better manager and scheduler, keeping my budget more within the range is supposed to be.

I had a job interview last week, I used your tips and I told them that I want more responsibilities. I got the job offer and when I asked them “what made me stand out?” They said that the biggest difference that I had from other interviewers was that I asked for more responsibilities.

I had a group interview once and did say I was a high achiever and did not say anything negative about former employers.
The person that bad - mouthed their previous employers got the job.
When asked why I did not get the position I was told I was overqualified and too nice lol!

So I recently started watching your videos. I took notes, I listened intently,and I was ready. But I didn't get the job i was applying for . The interview was a joke. I couldn't apply all the things that I learned from watching, which was all great. I do want to say thank you, you helped me prepare for a important job interview but unfortunately the employer just didn't ask questions. They still want me to work from them but at a lower level. I got an interview in about 2 hours, it is a really good opportunity for me and very convenient as my girlfriend works at a school just down the road . Can you make a video on what to do if the interviewer is showing a lack of interest in the candidate? For example they aren’t really asking questions and only talking about the company, leaving it to you to talk and ask him questions. I had this happen today from the very beginning of the interview. I noticed it right away and the last time it happened, I did not get an offer.

These are the best videos. I’m preparing for a HUGE job interview that I truly want the role to become an expert in the field to get and can see myself staying with this company now until retirement. I have a difficult question. I was let go from a company but never prepared a great answer. I want to say that it’s well behind me and I’ve grown and learned from it. How do I address something that was so bad by such a bad company that makes it positive. It’s been 5 years and I feel it still plagues me in an interview.

I can verify that in any job interview they won’t ask you a bunch of questions besides do you have your ID and your SSN with you. The most they will probably is ask is what made you want to work here. I watched this before my job interview expecting some of these statements to come out of my now managers mouth when not much was said. Just besides giving him ID, asking a couple questions and bam (Edit) I’m not being hateful but those types of questions are usually used with big time employers. So if it’s fast food or aiding stuff like that you don’t have to worry much about them.
