The locations remind me a lot of old school monster hunter locations, that dark and gritty look. I like it. Then you also have colorful variation when the weather changes. Its like combining the vibrance of the newer games with the dark, gritty look of the older ones.

@@kenjironakazawa9177 with the exciting technology of wilds they could very easily apply Lagis fluid move set, in the beta of monster Hunter world Lagi was actually supposed to be a monster in the game and it was able to swim in the old ancient forest, I think it would easily look good with that style in this game
@@OziOzzy I’m all down for the fight I miss Lagiacrus. Hunting so many but it feels like without underwater when he was only on land he wasn’t as fun. If they find a way to make it feel just as good I’m down loved that guy
@@WutherWave-qc3ud I completely understand that, I only ever fought him in mh tri and mh3u so I mostly got the water combat experience, however he did have a land based variant too “Ivory Lagi” and personally I really enjoyed him. But I can understand how it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, this being said the sky is the limit to what the Wilds team seem to be giving the monsters, I’m sure if they put effort into it they could recreate a flawless Lagi

extinct Monsters are the Dinosaurs of Monster Hunter, from what i see it looks like a Prehistoric Gore Magala of some sorts

At least vigorwasp doesnt have a revival bubble but a mist so u can get up quicker
Yeah the number of times that revival bubble lasted exactly long enough for a monster to perfectly time their super attack on my near-fainted form... like 70% of the time you get hit after the revival.

Why do all the characters need to be ULTRA realism?
Rise had the perfect balance of character design.
Honestly I'm with you on this one, the graphics are objectively impressive, don't get me wrong, but I'm getting kind of tired of every big game having realistic graphics instead of it's own artstyle, one of my least favorite trends in modern gaming, they just don't really have a lot of personality.
Monster Hunter has been one of my favorite gaming series for awhile but with Wilds, it definitely solidified that ten fold
The new fish is a leviathan but man I'm so psyched to have such an awesome piscine-like design. A monster based on an arapaima was a fantastic idea
Okay. So the theory that frontier was MH in the past could be a possibility seeing how the white wraith has the "wing-whips" like Berukyurosu and Zenaserisu, and Alma saying it's an extinct species
My head canon is frontier timeline where the dragon war still happening and bcs of the dragon war most monster extinct and leave with the current monster in mainline surviving

You know, I think this trailer helped me realize what it is I don't like about the cats being able to speak normally now.
It's not just that the meows sound cuter and more endearing, it's that they, ironically, sound more realistic... if that makes sense?
It sounds weird, but it actually always made more sense to me that the cats only spoke in meows and purrs and such, and we just UNDERSTOOD them. Like Lassie (perhaps a bit of an old reference for a lot of you these days...).

Yeah I'm definitely toggling the option to make the Palicoes go back to meowing. No hate to the VAs since this was a Capcom decision, but having the Palicoes actually talk was something I have never seen anyone ask for on any forum, Discord, video, or whatnot. At least they're still keeping the option to revert it. Seems the lip sync is off in English too so I'll probably end up switching it to the Monster Hunter language or Japanese depending on what it's synced for.
To be honest. It ain't bad at all. Even though nobody asked for it, I'm here for it. It's peaked my interest enough that I'll keep the options flipped on for myself. And I don't know about you but the english VAs sound decent enough. I haven't heard or seen anything too odd that takes me out. Though that's the beauty of having options~
@@honeychonav4027 To each their own, I'm just not a fan of having them speak English. It was part of Monster Hunter's charm to me. Again I have no hate for the VAs as they were just doing what Capcom paid them to do, they sound fine. I just have a preference as do others.

70 bucks for the base game, 90 for the deluxe edition, and 110 for the premium deluxe. Seeing how I'm gonna spend thousands of hours on this game, I think the deluxe edition is worth 90 dollars.

I think Arkveld comes from a cold locale which will probably be the endgame locale. Similar to how in world you were tracking down Nergigante whom was the flagship of world and ended up in the final locale which was the elder’s recess. I think you will fight Arkveld across a few different locales and eventually track him down to the final ice locale.And notice the young boys clothing that he was found in is clothing indicative of tundra living meaning he most likely came from a cold place (which is where Arkveld came from)
