Awesome video. I've been using an MSI laptop for designing for over a year now. With Windows ultimate it's a dream. I don't have a problem with Apple it's just the price you pay and the ability to fix their products yourself is nearly impossible. In this age of "just buy a new one" it has really worked out for them.
Where to you think the future of script fonts is headed since they don't teach cursive anymore? (in u.s. anyway). The argument is that it's outdated and we don't use it anymore but as a designer my argument is that script fonts are definitely still used in many facets of graphic design, and of course I fear script style fonts dying off if cursive penmenship isn't being taught anymore. I have been wanting to write a blog or do a video on this but I'm redesigning my whole branding and portfolio so it would be a while, you should do a video that touches on this because I haven't heard or seen anyone raise this argument when it comes to teaching cursive. Does this issue matter?
I tried to follow your steps on my latest video and I’m loving the way my lettering turned out, thank you for this useful content!! And keep up the AWESOME work!
I have a surface book (dedicated gcu, i7, 8gb ram, 260g storage with added 320gb discreet external storage), how would you compare it to your new computer if u have used a suracebook?
Will, what’s your thoughts on the curvature tool? I’ve been playing with it recently and it’s been really intuitive, but none of the designers I see posting tutorials seem to use it. Is this because you are used to the pen tool?
I like the camera angle set up but maybe you should use the tripod for the screen because it’s a bit shakey and blurry. But this is very informative &helpful!
Fantastic, it’s an MSI laptop but could you please use screen capture in future? The shaky and unfocused camera makes an otherwise insightful and professional tutorial seem a bit amateurish. Great information and very well articulated as usual though!
Your the man Will!!! Another great vid with a lot of value !!! Its because of your videos and wisdom Ive started my own design company, and channel around it BDesign680.... Thanks man!!!
A laptop designed for creators - how is it any different from any gaming laptop? GTX 1070... 1080p... close to 100% srgb? what does that even mean? 99%? 98%? 95%? Aren't most screens in that range these days? This is a laptop with the "designed for" slapped on as an afterthought for marketing reasons. How about a Quadro card and a screen close to 100% Adobe Rgb? 1440p or 4k?
A correction in the video!!! The graphics card is the GeForce GTX 1070 MaxQ - not the T-70!
My accent makes it sound like I said T-70 😂
Hope you guys enjoy!
I think I prefer the screen recording, not the camera one.
agree. but i like this content. the box method is gold. thanks for that!
adventurepromo the content is certainly great!
he has to show the laptop he's sponsored to show
@@ielyax Thank you :)
Amazing video as always Will! Always struggled with vectorizing a typeface that has more curves and this video helped me a ton.

The fact that you are using a PC is absolutely disturbing.

Complete video just to advertise msi exactly like the blow in previous video
Mahmood Muhenned Despite the sponsor (that makes the video happen) the amount of value in this video is great. Thanks for watching.
