    The Logo Design Process From Start To Finish.
    Hello Everyone, welcome back.
    In today’s Tutorial, I will take you through a full logo design project,
    from start to finish.
    you will see me sketching, then I will show you how to make a grid system
    for your logo sketch, and you will see much more of my logo design process.
    Make sure to watch carefully to the end, and then write in the comment section the most valuable information you find it in the tutorial, and I will pick the best three comments and I will mention them in the next tutorial video.
    Thank You!!

    The logo design Process:
    when you design a logo, you should follow a precise logo design process to ensure that your
    final design be the right solution for the client problem.
    There is always precise steps that will guarantee you a great final logo design:
    Design brief: this step where you send to the client a detailed logo design questionnaire
    to collect all the information needed.
    Research and Mind mapping: in this phase you should make a deep search about the industry,
    and the competitors of your client, you will also learn about your client’s target audience.
    Sketching And Refining: this step is about putting ideas on paper no matter how you drawing look like, its about gathering as much logo design concept as possible, then choosing the right ones an clean it.
    Digitizing: this step is about digitizing your sketches and making them scalable vector logo designs.
    Delivery: this is the final phase where you make a good presentation with all you logo design concepts and present it to the client.

    The big question I have here is... why is the logo facing the wrong way?
    By flipping it, not only would you have the ‘dragon element’ but the curvature then matches that of a ‘D’.
    It also makes much more sense to do this - that way it’s looking at the writing with pride, not looking away with shame.
    And if you still don’t agree with this point, check other logos that have a directional sense to them - for example the Twitter bird.
    They all tend to face left to right because that’s in tune with the way we read and translates to a sense of moving forward.
    Any thoughts or comments on this?

      I disagree. Contrary to what you said, many iconic animal logos face left rather than right to counter the direction of the type. Puma, Jaguar, Playboy, Peugeot, Polo, Crocks, Camel, Ferrari, Polo, JAL, American Eagle are just a few examples. The direction of the animal isn't necessarily important compared to the imagery itself. In this case, the logo works as is in my opinion. Please do some basic research before saying something's in the 'wrong' direction.

    I've been a self taught part time graphic designer for about 4 years and this one video completely changed my workflow for logo design. I used to rely on the pen tool to much, the shapebuilder is so much cleaner! Having the grid already set up like this makes showing your work when presenting to a client so much simpler. Basically thank you this was super informative and I learned a lot. You presented it in a very easy to understand way. I appreciated the bird and nature sound fx too.

Just hear his imput on "how much you charge for a logo?" And what factor depends on what you charge for it! Do you charge your logo for time or value??? It depends on who do you sell it! If it's a small store it won't worth the same as if you sell it to a big corporation like Nike for instance even if the logo is tat simple to draw! I love it because this channel talks a lot about marketing of graphic design business and how to run it!

    $750 is a realistic price for the logo alone. However if the customer is also asking for a full graphics profile (businesscards, brochures, letterheads, etc etc) - the price would (should!) at least be 3-4 times higher.

    • @MohamedAchraf

      Thank you, this is not a fixed price for all mybworks

    • @izihbo
      @izihbo 6 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Well of course it would be nice to charge higher prices - however you need to "keep it real" or you get very few customers. Most people don't actually see the real value and don't appreciate the process behind the logo as much as the creator himself (and other graphics designers).

    • @toothpik00
      @toothpik00 6 ปีที่แล้ว +21

      Most people where I'm from turn their nose up at $200 for a logo. It's disgraceful. They just don't understand. We're creating the face of their business. $1000 should be small change considering the money they will make over time using their new logo.
