Yes, If you are already in Germany, you need to reach out to Govt. Organisation called BAMF in your city. They will evaluate your profile and provide a letter to join any nearby language school. Usually it is a 4-hrs daily class for 6 months and you can appear for B1 exam. You need to pay the fee by yourself every month, after your B1 exam, if you pass it, then you can get 50% back as refund. Please check out to BAMF website to know more.
Hey , I just completed my graduation and get job offer 2 lakh Indian rupees in Germany as a nursing staff where nursing salary is only 20,000 rs in India and its 20 x more then India ...but you said its cost of living 2800 euro and its equal to 2lakh 50,000 in Germany ...what and how😮
Hey, great content. One quick question. It may sound naive, but I really wanted to know. I am planning to learn german and find job in germany to settle down there as we have new laws to bring our parents if the criteria meets. So how much do you think would cost for a family of 5, including 2 senior citizen parents.
Hi, Thanks for your kind feedback. As you may know that bring parents/in-laws is going to be a new thing for foreigners. So personally I have no clarity on how will be the health insurance handled, would be it slightly higher for senior citizens, and few other unanswered questions. Hence, for now, if you still need a number then my rough estimate is 5k euro per month in a big city. But that is completely a guesstimate based on my current expenses. But I will try to make a new video with this topic, once I get answers for my questions.
better in india. 3 k is huge amount to spend as a living cost /month . I don't think you can save more than 1000 euros / month , which is just 88 k . In India we can save easily more than 1 lakh /month .
Hi jeggan, your videos are very informative for us really thankyou for such informative videos . In India One of the consultant cheated on us thats y Me n My family are presently in portugal n we wanted to move to germany. My husband is an HR n worked with many MNC with good work experience, he tried a lot to search job from india also but it didnt work . Pls advice n help us to find a job in germany . One more query n i.e yet we have not received a TRC card in portugal. So is it possibly to move to germany without TRCcard .
Hi, I am sorry to hear that some bad thing has happened to you in your movement. I am not sure about TRC card but if you get a job contract from German employer then with your Indian passport and the job contract, you can apply for German visa from Portugal itself. Once you get Germany's entry visa, you can then move in to Germany. Finding job is separate part, for HR roles I do not have much experience directly. But I hope you would watched couple of my other videos where I discuss about some tips, I could only recommend that for now.
Hi Jegan We are planning to move to Munich in a couple of months. Could you please tell us how much will be the cost for private kindergarten? And also do they accept kids with special needs?Hoping for your valuable reply 😊
Hi, I do not have first hand experience inside Munich city. But I have paid up to 340 euros for 6 hours of day care in a different city. For special needs, yes, definitely there are options.
Hi Jegan, I would like to know about the job opportunities for mainframe cobol programmers? It would be really helpful for me to make my decision of moving to Germany. Because, I think fully dependent on one person salary will not be enough for long run. So, I want my partner to also have enough opportunities. Thanks
Hi Vignesh, I did a small research on Cobol job opportunities. It looks to be very low. So I am bit pessimistic about finding a job only with Cobol. But if you stack yourself with other skills then it will be better.
Hi Nagarjuna, Hope you are doing well. Of course, it could be taunting. We can speak further, May be connect via talktojegan@gmail.com for a Google meet.
If I apply for a job seekers visa in Germany. I should not be in the job while applying or can I work remotely for any organisation and parallely looking for a job in Germany? Any idea on this

How much deposit did you paid? I am coming on job seeker visa, currently I had thought to book AirBnB for initial 1st month. Yeah, that's why I always used to say in many of my videos. If money is the primary goal, then Germany is not the right place. You can still make a decent number, but not huge. (at least that's my opinion).
It is definitely not worth it...trust me! In a well-paid job, 45% of your salary is deducted towards tax. You must be insane / seriously desperate to come live here.
@@SirKnowitAll But I think when you have relatively low salary here in India Ex. between 10-20LPA then I think migrating to Germany also will make difference even if 45% deductions.
