@@mariobros2169 Gorons are a all male race In my opinion I think the Gurodos thought that it would be unfair for all but gorons to go into the villages so they just allow them That’s it I mean they deserve a chance to see the village I don’t know how gorons are made so don’t ask about that
Since the Goron are genderless, even if they have more masculine traits, I think that Gerudo Town is not a place that only allows women, but rather a place that doesn't allow men in it.
Personally, this is just me, and I did see someone comment earlier about how they love how the Lore is not always there, leaving room for the player to find importance to whatever. I suck at trying to explain shit. But I do think the gerudo women, albeit an only woman race, which would probably and more likely come off as a dominant trait, no matter who the reproduce with, so either way they end up a girl and the same traits of physicality that you see in just about everything Gerudo. I do see that there is a chance for them to allow trans men, non binary people, who I believe are the gorons in my personal view of the game. Therefore, just in my personal view, there are chances that these women can actually repopulate and reproduce. Whether it is with a trans man, a non binary person who could just have a penis. The gerudo women are seemingly confusing and complicated when it does come to the allowing in their city. But I personally like to think while the Hylians may find problems with people, not being a man or woman mentally, physically and sexually, I do like to think that other races, like the Gerudo's would not mind it, as it is a possible way they reproduce. Now not everyone will be non binary or trans, but this also begs the question of how they would reproduce otherwise. Hylians are definitely an option, and so could the male born every 100 years. It would not surprise me if Ganon actually helped conceive a lot of Gerudo woman in his teenage/early adult years. This is just my point of view on it, this is just how I see it and when I can finally buy and play the game then just watching theories and let's plays, it is probably how I'll see the game be played and how I will experience it myself. :)
I love the Video! I wanted to say something about the 1st theory. I myself speak german, so i play the german Version of botw. In the german Version, Purah's catchphrase is (i feel so stupid, lmao) : Katchikka! In the final cutscene where the picture is taken, the female says the same thing. I think that basically confirms it.
6:05 I’m pretty sure that’s a camel. You see, giraffes don’t have humps, and giraffes cannot survive in the desert. This is a camel 🐪 and this is a giraffe 🦒.
Have you played Majora's Mask? If not the sort answer is yes there are female Gorons, they are just every similar physically, and they all have deep voices, but there are some differences.
I haven't played in awhile but I thought one of the Gorons in Geurdo mentions that HE is a guy but they let him in because Gerudo can't the difference between Goron men and women... so they let all Goron's in. So MOST of the Gorons in the Gerudo town are female but there is at least one guy.
A favourite theory of mine is the SOS Morse codes in the divine beasts music. In each piece of music, an SOS call can be heard. For every one except Vah Medoh, each SOS call is slower and can be heard in the background. There’s a theory the SOS call was made when the champion died. Revali’s SOS call was fast, panicked and a lot after then the rest. It suggests Revali lasted the longest in his battle, and he eventually swallowed his pride to make the call, and he was panicking. Every time I complete Vah Medoh, I just hear this one quick, fast, panicked SOS call. It gives me chills every time.
Given that Link needed his Sheikah Slate to operate the Divine Beasts, I had assumed the other Champions used one of their own to pilot their respective Beasts. That's part of why Daruk needed adjustments to pilot Vah Rudania: his fingers were too big to operate a Sheikah Slate.
Awww, having shoutouts to my boy Zeltik and fellow Discorder Phantasimo warms the cockles of my heart. Very nice collection of theories, short and concise!
I Kinda have a theory about the sheikah slate might have more runes than the ones in the game that could of helped in certain parts of the game like getting into small areas that can't be reached by normal means, making the monsters smaller to take them down easier, make you bigger to reach things, making items bigger to crush monsters, and making three clones to take down multiple enemies
You can actually find Dorian’s wifes grave overlooking Kakariko village. It’s the frog statue with a SHEIKAH symbol and a rock containing an eightfold blade. When you grab the blade, a yoga clan members appear! Love your channel!
The Gorons acually do have a gender, correct me if I am wrong but there is a shrine quest where one Goron is mining a wall (which has a shrine behind it) but is too tired, so his BROTHER tells you that HIS BROTHER needs help..... What do you think?
They just use "Brother" to denote kinship rather than "blood" relationships (it's doubtful that they even have blood). There is never any mention of goron females so having distinctions of "brother" and "sister" would have no context for them. Culturally they probably thought "friend" just didn't describe the relationship they had/wanted with themselves and their close allies and settled on brother. A bond which cannot be broken. A few gorons have been declared as havin a "son", but they never elaborate on how said sons came into being.
The most simple way to put it is: Gorons reproduce asexually (I personally think they create their young using special rocks at death mountain) but they use male pronouns and refer to each other as “brother” as a sign of respect.
I think there's more evidence that Link lived in Hateno Village. Before the calamity, Link was known for two things aside from his swordsmanship: riding and marksmanship. In Hateno, there's a hunting mini-game, and just outside the village there's an old horse racing track that also includes targets to shoot. This would explain why he's so skilled in both those areas, as he had these places so close to him as he was growing up and therefore he could train more often
The Shiekah Slate is almost always referred to as one of many. Ex: “You have a Shiekah Slate?!”, “Oh, is that a shiekah slate?” Thought that was just implied tbh
The dead sheikah woman would make sense because she had business left in the living world to attend to, the yoga killed her and she may have needed to see her daughters grow up before her job was done. Her soul hasn’t settled so there’s no reason for her to not be there
Something that supports the 'Gorons have a trade system with the Gerudo' is that they can be seen in Zora's Domain. Think about it, the Zora wear pretty much nothing except for jewelry that would obviously require gems. It would make sense for them to need these gems to come from Death Mountain.
I reckon the great Plateau was skyloft The king said the plateau was the birthplace of hyrule, and if Oot’s castle town was there it makes sense that the residents of skyloft would make the island into a city after skyward sword
Ok so this isn't mentioned anywhere, and I only just found out about it. During the blood moon, if you go to dueling peaks stable an (in game)hour before and after, you will find Hino running around the stable and his text boxes are all in red and go (there's only 2): "Arise monsters!", and "So...red..So gloriously red!" and I find that really weird and concerning.
One of my own theories that HAS to have been covered, [I've just not every heard it mentioned myself] is the theory of why Link failed and the PURPOSE of BOTW. We know from a journal entry that Link chooses not to speak due to a strong sense of duty. His father was a great man and he was told of his purpose since a young age. So in order to meet expectations, he chose to go silent. He would bear any burden and no longer express himself, since that was his duty. This is one of the only versions of Link who didn't grow up with some humble beginning. He didn't suddenly learn of his purpose or choose of his own free will to face evil. It was forced upon him. And I think thats truly why he failed. Link's personality in the dialogue is goofy and full of puns and humor. And at times Link can even be a bit of a jerk. His posture when speaking to people with his hands on his hips can be seen as cocky. He laughs when he does a trick on a shield, he gets giddy when he cooks a good meal, and he flexes if he stands around without a shirt on. Hes INCREDIBLY expressive... But he isn't in any of the flashbacks........ I think this is because he lost his memories. Link lost all those expectations, all that training, all the times he was told of his reason for being... He forgot why he'd gone silent. I think the King teaches Link various things in a humble form, because he realized what he'd done.... what had happened to Link.... He wanted Link to take it slow, to ease into it. To experience life as it was before forcing him back into a task... Because he understood why they had failed. It wasn't because Ganon controlled the guardians, or his own trickery... Gameplay shows us that we can defeat ganon in our undies with a pot lid. That wasn't the threat. The problem was they didn't have the one thing they needed.... Because it only appears when you have a choice... its only there when you fight for whats right, in spite of everything. When your own fear and weakness are still there to overcome.... They'd made sure it wasn't there.... Because they didn't train a Warrior.... They made a Weapon.... Weapons can't have Courage.
The plateau wasn’t raised you just had to get to it by stairs you can find the blocked off entrance and a lake that filled up over a hundred years since the other end was blocked off
I could have sworn one of the Gorons told me that the Gerudo could not tell the difference. I seem to recall him walking by a medium-sized body of water and maybe carrying some sort of luggage.
Hey can you make a video talking about the Lanayru Promenade? It's an interesting place there's a bird like statue or a number of them along the walls there. Similar architecture to the forgotten temple. Like to hear your take on it
I have a headcanon regarding Link's house that I put in my LoZ stories. It would explain why it was going to be torn down, because it gives a reason for everyone forgetting that Link lived there. The headcanon is that he moved to Castle Town at some point. Pretty simple. There's not much to back it up, it's just an idea I had.
Gorons might be aloud in Garoudo Town because one Goron named Lyndae is a female Goron but looks like a male so the Garudo guards can't tell whether this Goron is a male or not because all Gorons look the same no matter what gender.
Puts a new spin on them saying they were defeated by the Blights. Some kind of infection of the mind on top of fighting whatever was physically thrown at them.
Ah, a theory lightning round. Here we go! 1: Yes, and the way Symin talks about the picture suggests that it's a risqué picture. That means that even though premium Instagram accounts do not exist, Purah is still a THOT. 2: And if you look at the gravestone from a particular angle it looks like a dick. Fitting, given that the king was a major dick to Zelda. 3: Locations get moved all the time. Just look at Spectacle Rock: in BotW it's in the desert while in ALttP it's on Death Mountain. 4: Another theory is that the Gerudo know how Gorons reproduce, and that said reproduction makes them vai according to their laws. 5: Ah yes, the good ol' "Let my enemies ready the giant killer robot so that I can steal it" ploy. It worked great in Metal Gear Solid. 6: Yes, because nothing says "We will forever remember you" like using someone as inspiration for a terrifying glowing four-legged horse. 7: Yep, no ghost mom in the game. Too bad that means that we didn't get a Cooking Ghost Mama quest. 8: There's multiple Sheikah Slates, yes. But we also learn an important lesson: don't try and build your own tablet. 9: So the house we buy and refurnish is Link's family home? That's sweet, and sad. But more importantly, Link appears in fairytales. So the Legend of Zelda is an in-universe thing. 10: So what would the fifth dungeon look like from the outside? A horse? A wolf? Or would it be more akin to something like Unicron, making it far bigger than you'd think? As for one of my own, well it's not really a theory but ever notice that Riju isn't sitting directly on the throne? In the flashback we saw that Urbosa did sit on the throne directly but Riju sits on an elevated wooden platform because the throne is way too large for her, which is why she also needs a wooden staircase going up to the throne.
When trying to link BotW to the rest of the Series, you should never forget, that there is a 10,000 year gap. 10,000 years is a VERY long time. It is coincidently, roughly the timeframe of human civilisation (meaning settled humans with governing bodies, etc.). In consequence, it doesn't matter, which time-line it follows. Empires last for a few hundred years, 2,000 at best. And when we add repeated catastrophic events to the mix, then Empires vanish without a trace.
I always just figured that the Gerudo let the Gorons in because they didn't know if they were male or female. The other races have pretty distinctive features to be able to tell their gender but not the Gorons so I always assumed it was supposed to be a funny joke that showed the Gerudo couldn't tell the difference either. Also I've always liked the idea that that was Link's home beforehand too. Especially since he offers to buy it immediately like he's drawn to it for some unknown reason. With what we're told about the previous owner never returning, I like to think it's Link and he finally came back to reclaim it.

And therefore the Champions were foretold to die from the Blight Ganons during the Great Calamity, but the Sheikah could only help/prepare Link because they were outcasted by the royal family of Hyrule?
So few are talking about this. I only ever see it mentioned in the comments and only once in a red moon. It's got the transmission drive shaft, air intake, piston, what seems like a carburetor or fuel intake, coolant and a 4 cylinder. I was just learning about motorcycle mechanics before I played the game. I thought I was crazy when I first saw the map but after completing it, I had that moment of realization.

@@arambles1 well at one point in the game after you do every quest that kass tells you if you go to rito village at night you can talk to him and he explained his ancestor tasked him to learn these songs to help link in the future after he wakes up and that his ancestor was in good relationships with the royal family and that's how they have the photo
Kass just has a inkjet in his pocket.
Botw and avatar are the same thing
A legendary reincarnated hero disappears for 100 years to master 4 elements

TheAnimewolfchick, have you even seen avatar: the last Airbender?
TheAnimewolfchick, ... i feel great disappointment at the moment. Revival is not an element. Daruk’s protection is not an element. Lighting by itself is not an element. We are talking about the 4 elements of fire, water, earth, and air that the greeks came up with. The only thing that you said that could even be considered a counter-argument is the lighting part.
There is a guy who gives you a quest to take a picture of the Lord of the Mountain. He looks suspiciously like Iwata.
There aren’t any side quests that revolve around the Lord of the Mountain, he’s mentioned by some npc’s but that’s it
Where do you find this guy??
Somebody - His name is Botrick, he can be found around Outskirt Stable, he doesn’t give you any sort of quest to do with the Lord of the Mountain, take it from a guy who has completed every side quest
If you talk to Botrick at just the right time and place he'll tell you about the Lord of the Mountain and how he wishes he could see it one day, but it just stays as that, and doesn't become a side quest. Botrick's character design was also based on Iwata

Since the Goron are genderless, even if they have more masculine traits, I think that Gerudo Town is not a place that only allows women, but rather a place that doesn't allow men in it.
Well thats just the same thing with extra steps
i think they have genders cause they have different voices and how else would their species reproduce
@@sophia7425 asexually

10:53 Wow, that book has the same art style as the first cutscene to Wind Waker!
12:01 I believe it's this father instead of Link himself who had to go to the castle and service as a Knight
I came in excpecting seven decents theories, but got ten GREAT theories instead. Love ur channel. Can't wait to see you reach 100k subs
Since Purah was experimenting new ones, maybe she can add more runes.
You can actually find Dorian’s wifes grave overlooking Kakariko village. It’s the frog statue with a SHEIKAH symbol and a rock containing an eightfold blade. When you grab the blade, a yoga clan members appear! Love your channel!

I say link lived near zora’s domain because in the “mipha’s touch” cutscene it said they would play together.
i have a mystery. why does link respawn after dying
Theory: Link's ability to stick to almost anything is his own Champion Ability. Or maybe he got bit by a radioactive skulltula.
It could be an ability to slow time, like midair bows and flurry rushes.
The Gorons acually do have a gender, correct me if I am wrong but there is a shrine quest where one Goron is mining a wall (which has a shrine behind it) but is too tired, so his BROTHER tells you that HIS BROTHER needs help.....
What do you think?
He was really saying "sexeless".
If you go with social theories about Gender, they identifies as males.
@Occult Claymore that's incorrect. Gender is a societal expression of one's identity, while sex is something physical and biological.
The most simple way to put it is:
Gorons reproduce asexually (I personally think they create their young using special rocks at death mountain) but they use male pronouns and refer to each other as “brother” as a sign of respect.
Thanks for doing a theory on the Gorons in gerudo town I’ve always wondered about that

The mountain lights green like the luminous stone which is said to contain the spirits of people who have died
that means zora's domain is made of the dead
Here after the Robbie and Purah trailer. I can confirm the first theory.
The dead sheikah woman would make sense because she had business left in the living world to attend to, the yoga killed her and she may have needed to see her daughters grow up before her job was done. Her soul hasn’t settled so there’s no reason for her to not be there
Yeah, too much yoga can be dangerous.

This is one epic collab
Something that supports the 'Gorons have a trade system with the Gerudo' is that they can be seen in Zora's Domain. Think about it, the Zora wear pretty much nothing except for jewelry that would obviously require gems. It would make sense for them to need these gems to come from Death Mountain.
I reckon the great Plateau was skyloft
The king said the plateau was the birthplace of hyrule, and if Oot’s castle town was there it makes sense that the residents of skyloft would make the island into a city after skyward sword
Love the video. So full of cool information
You should make a theory with Lockstin and Gnoggin.
Love your theory videos so this is awesome.
I love these mini theory style videos! I'm excited for more and for the full length video for some of the theories!
I thought of the link lives in hanto this friday
Dam that’s sad

I love just looking through the map at all the names areas. There's so many callbacks to past games. Even the Oracle games. God I love this game.
How is #1 a theory. It was very obviously implied to be Purah.
"An elevated plateau" every plateau is elevated.
When I put the stone in the thumbnail I also thought it looked like a dick 🤣

Ah ah great ! 😂
@Noblesse Obligee Polymelia ???
I still call Breath of the Wild "the new Zelda game".
Well it’s the latest one
Honestly.... same
I always just figured that the Gerudo let the Gorons in because they didn't know if they were male or female.
Ya it’s a theory vid!!!
