I think one of the biggest things that makes Steph insanely consistent is his ability to shoot always with the same rhythm. Look how he uncoils his body almost at the same time he's bringing the ball to his set point. Makes it effortless.
Jesu s loves you
@@directorbacon.7896 God bless you brother.
@@TheTriathlete God bless you too
The seamless transition from dribbling all the way into the release and then through the net is what makes this shot so unstoppable.
He makes it look sooooo easy...
yea😓
It IS easy tho.
Maybe it's because, it's his own shooting form.
@@yusufsawaneh7655 yes for him😂
Mental, Confidence, mid-range, warm-ups, free throws to get the motion and all one jump motion is key
So therapeutic. I'm not a warriors fan but I like Steph, gotta give credit where credit due
Same here, regardless of the team of your choice, the man is a scoring machine
Alex Pendleton respect
U Out here talking like Stephen a Smith
1:41 lol he dabs

This is museum -worthy
The combination of his set of skills in a point guard changed the NBA. This is the reason why the game is more and more fast paced.
His form is a thing of beauty.
He is so consistent in how his right hand faces down and elbow extended on every shot.
it is lit it makes me wanna play basketball
family adiko ilovebasketballtv. Go. Learn.
How’d it go
Update?
Right after he exploded the 3 points made record. Truly greatness 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Really nice vid. One of the BEST pure shooting forms in NBA history. Glen rice is another one. I'd also toss in dale ellis.
OMG, what a quick release!! I knew it was quick, but to see it in slow motion is amazing.
And the most freaking thing about it all, is that Steph doesn't even need to jump very high, unless it's a toughly contested shot
5t3r3054x He doesn't need to jump high because his heels are up and it gives him a boost
Swagmaster 33 no he doesn't need to jump high because he has a one motion shot
maddengamer 27 Yea I know
@@maddengamer2754 you don’t jump high with a one motion shot
This video is so fire🔥
These videos are beautiful!!
Love this video! Nice tunes!
As you can see on how curry gains so much range, he releases the ball as he jumps to shoot instead of waiting to release it once he gets to the highest point of his jumper
Always fascinates me how he gets those kinds of shots off without the defender being able to block it, since his release is low and he's shorter than most.
@@TheRoniverseOfficial coz he has fast release.
@@TheRoniverseOfficial his release is not low it is actually high release
@@TheRoniverseOfficial his set point is low, release point is high
Damn the music sooo good
God damn that was.... the best thing ever while baked
😐😐
No 🧢
Das wat im saying
At normal speed it always feels like he’s chucking it lol but that just shows how quick his release is
look at curry man so inspirational
1:42 me tryin' to dab for the first time. Lol.
😑
This is very fantastic
I stg just watching his from makes me a better shooter, and I don't mean I copy his form I keep my own jumpshot but anytime I watching him shoot I shoot better
Thanks this really helps me
I’m not sure I’ve seen the shot doctors online point this out...when steph releases his guide hand it isn’t pointed Towards the sky, he points it towards the basket. I tried this and it had an instant impact...I know it’s different for everyone..but this seems to be the best way for me to keep my shots straight consistently
My bad, that aweosme shooting guy on TH-cam def pointed this out haha. Love him. He always says that a lot of the old school stereotypical things coaches always tell you aren’t necessarily still the best advice. Gotta be willing to evolve!!
Check out this channel's videos on Steph's off hand thumb flick. They describe the directional consistently. I've been experimenting with it for about 4 years now and it definitely improved range and alignment.
Thank you
This music is fire too 🔥🔥🔥
So satisfying
Thank you for the dope music. Usually channel play some bull.
Amazing form for shooting of dribble.
raymond felton in these highlights as much as Steph 😂
Beautiful
Am I tho only one that noticed the thing he does with his thumb he like tucks it doesn’t effect anything idk if I’m looking to deep it to it but the fact that he does it every shot also show the Consistency of his form🔥
Most interesting thing about curry shot is his forearm pronation right before release. Look at the direction his forearm and hand are facing right before his jump shot and then compare that to when he actually releases it.
2:57 3:44 3:55 0:36 0:49 1:44 1:59 2:35 2:37 2:47 3:14
damn that is just trippy.
The music 🔥🔥🔥
Look how straight his shooting release is. Thats a major key
the elbow
That instru tho
2:29
The intrumental is so fliping good
Notice how he tilts his feet while he shoots and he has a V elbow and he tilts his head to
I’m baked af this shit so good
The rotating ball how satisfying it is
Could u do another one of Stephen Curry slow motion video?
Facts
1:42 dat dab tho 😂
The greatest shooter of all time
I see he uses a thumb flick, but how does he keep his full guide hand on the ball my guide hand palm comes off when I thumb flick is it because I have smaller hands?
Looks like he has more control because he pushes from the chest more than other players. everyone else puts the ball up high and drops the ball back with their elbows whereas curry is more about the shoulders.
so basically my off hand should come off of the ball right when I start to flick my wrist forward?
Yes, that sounds about right
Should you move your hand or your whole arm?
@@MrKrabs-xf2tr I try to only move my hand
My arm still moves a little bit though
to be honest.. his height with the length of his arms how big his hands are and wide shoulder helps also. is not only shooting mechanics is his body composition.
投出的不僅是一顆三分,它透露著一份堅毅無比的執著
將信念投出去的剎那間,閃耀著世上最無與倫比的光芒
あにわ、
The real treat here was seeing that NY team w melo and stoudemire again
I’m a cavs fan, but Steph curry shouldn’t be hated, he has his own jumper, and he’s built different
1:41
GOD bless❤️🙏🏾
i havent seen before that he also use his left hand toe to shot!!
...You mean thumb...?
What’s the title of the background song?
Should definitely do one of Bradley beal
Can you do Khris Middleton or Matthew Dellavedova?
Does Stephen curry thumb flick or is his thumb just rubbing against the ball?
He thumb flicks but not enough to mess up his shot
Jordan Ensign its a thumb flick but He's not using it for power on his shot, he's using it as a guide to aim because he flicks it before he even flicks his wrist
Jordan Ensign kyrie does it
Frankie Lira he doesn't always thumb flick. If you look closer he tucks his thumb before he snap his shooting hand
He has one but it's incredibly hard to notice
good lofi
I have the same 3 point jumpshot as curry gonna get to league with a bit more practice
Best slow-motion jumpshot on my channel. Curry Who?

Can do jr smith shooting slow mo ?
any idea why his shooting palm at the set point looks like it is facing left instead of facing to the rim? 2:30 for example, i also notice there are other players doing that too...
when pulling up and releasing quickly, you dont have time to adjust the ball in your hand so that the shooting hand is directly under the ball facing the rim. Instead, he turns the hand and the ball right while going up right before release.
i dont think so, coz his palm is consistently facing left no matter how he picks up the ball or on which side of the court, i cant find one example where his shooting palm is facing the right hand side...@@samuwall
@@timothy1949 Steph shoots in one motion directly after placing both hands securely on the ball. In order to hold the ball securely, the right hand has to hold the ball applying pressure towards the left hand, so it faces towards the left as he gets set. This applies no matter how he gets to that shooting position, as the ball will too easily slip out if you hold the right hand in the center, facing the center of the ball towards the basket (you can try this for yourself). The right wrist will start to rotate to face the basket and the left hand will rotate around that more towards the top of the ball (keeping a secure hold on the ball) as he gets closer to the release, finishing with a bit of a touch with the thumb to get it centered on that right hand (which is hard to do)
tl;dr at set point ball needs to be secure, so the right hand applies pressure against the left hand, and points left. So yea the shooting palm will never face the rim at set point, so long as the left hand is not holding the ball directly opposite of that (I.e., holding the back of the ball)
I think his secret is He gets the ball to the set point and pushes his jumper like a push shot he doesn’t catapult it he pushes it
Lol the first clip show he adjusted his right palm on the ball while taking the shot
Poor Al Faruq Aminu he got in all sorts of poses :D
how does he get so much power, it seems impossible from just watching his form
A One motion jumpshot is much better than a two when trying to get enough power to shoot from 3
This way actually generates more power once you understand the mechanics
Even in slow mo I still manage to miss the shot release
ScotShot should i shoot the ball on my right side

As soon I red the title I started moving in slow motion lol XD
About to play 2k but I'm feeling the steph in me
what's the name of this instrumental
WEB HEAD song is always in the description
Do Ray Allen
I can’t figure out if curry palms the ball when he shoots or doesn’t it’s really hard to tell can anybody please tell me?
he palms the ball to control the ball
turn off the sound and play your favourite music to the video :)
Do damian lillard if you haven't already
He makes it look so Stephortless
Looking at this i now know why his shots are really automatic if u look at his follow through as he’s shooting you’ll see his wrists are flexible prolly more than the average human idk anyone else have any thoughts ⬇️
It's crazy how Klay's video was 1 minute and some change but Steph's was almost 5 minutes -_-
Tavell King couldn't find enough footage to do 5 minutes for klay
ohhhh my bad lol still love the video tho !!!!
Scot Shot Basketball not enougg footage?????
