Big advise: Never stand to watch people fighting, so you don't get robbed by pickpockets while you are carried away watching the fight.

It's a good way for ppl who aren't good in busy social settings to get over any anxiety or nervousness they may have around this ... It's like diving strait into the deep end but obv Tommy is a natural and/or he's travelled around enough to be used to it all and now is second nature which is how I feel ... I get harassed wayyyyy less because I am Pakistani-American and tho I was born and raised not far from long island where Tommy is from, they see me as Pakistani/south Asian and dont have western equivalent funds and resources which is great .. they move onto next white man lol

How's his Nigerian? When he speaks Spanish, he sounds like a straight up Argentinean. It's impressive if he's a white American who didn't take Spanish lessons in school. Even if he did take Spanish lessons, he speaks it with an Argentinean accent that wouldn't be taught in America. Thank you for your real and authentic account of a white man visiting a Lagos market.
I knew it would be a lot more like this, but TH-camrs like Indigo Traveler sugarcoat everything and create falsified images of what it's like to be a foreign tourist in areas like this, while covering up the fact he has local bodyguards with him and planned routes etc.
Thanks for being honest and keeping authenticity alive on a platform that is favoring disengenous facades with palatable presentation - over truth and authenticity.

One thing people have to contend with in markets like that is continues grabbing of the hand by vendors. Vendors grab your hand to get you to come buy their merchandise, you might have to be a little aggressive to get some of them off you. It’s even worse with ladies. For a foreigner it can be very offensive. They are a little less aggressive when you an Oyinbo though. Tommy might wanna know these few tips, to watch out for Jossey. Tommy will get a lot of attention too there as well.

That leads to tremendous corruption...secularism is why America & Europe are in such decline today too.... People laugh at religion today (& yes it is flawed) but things like the 10 commandments gave moral guardrails to people on how to lead a successful life...
