  • In our second episode of “The Social Contrast”, we will be discussing how the Grateful Dead exemplifies the journey and purpose of every artist. With Thaddeus T of Lo Presher, we draw connections between the foundations and the music of the Grateful Dead to the creative style of modern writers, composers, and even Thaddeus T’s own reminiscence of his time with Lo Presher. In this podcast, our reflections on the Grateful Dead (which includes our connections to other forms and histories of the arts) we will attempt to answer the following questions of artistry versus societal norms:
“Is art of any medium meant to have a singular identity?”
    “How is art truly appreciated?”
“What is more important to the artist: the objective or the journey?”
