I am Dutch and we do it different. In general our matresses are much less thick and we care more about individual preferences. That means that both partners often have 2 different mattresses but with the same height. Also the bed base is individual. It can be adjustble slatted bases with adjustable firmness for both partners, or a disk base bed ( you probably don't know). It is important to have mattresses what you can turn. We have over the both mattresses a splitking cover mattress from memory foam so it feels like you have one mattress together. We also have 2 different duvets so each sleeps based on individual preferences.
I disagree that the split head king is better that the split king. If your other half wants legs up but you don't then it's not as flexible as a split king!
I am Dutch and it is common here to put a splithead cover over this set up so it feels like one mattress. We have that too and it doesn't effect the zero gravity function but here you can also buy toppers and sheets for a split both at the headside and at the feetside. But I personally prefer only a split an the headside to have less gap in the middle.
Although I found the Presidio mattress on the web site, there is no selection for a Split-Head version, or pricing. Either for a King or otherwise. Also, there are no selection or pricing indications for Split-kings or Split-Cal Kings. Assume the process would be to order two Twin XLs for Split-King. But what about a Split-Cal King? This video seems to be three weeks old. Is the web site up to date? Lastly, the adjustable base descriptions are not very descriptive relative to features and construction. Who is the manufacturer? How do they compare against some mainstream brands?
I have a Beauty rest candace luxury firm (in excellent condition) & I am wondering if it can be used with an adjustable base. The only description I can find for it is a ‘tight top spring core medium mattress’. Any help is appreciated
It looks way to hight to me to be flexible. The mattress doesn't look flexibible enough to me. You can never have a mattress with coil springs on an adjustable bed, only pocketsprings or any other mattress without springs.
I'm researching adjustable bed and considering the split king. This video is very helpful. If the gap is a issue you can buy the gap filler

We went from split head to split king for the same reason.
Well you guys dont have sex enough then to see why the neck one is better
When you have the split head does that mean you lose the zero gravity function where you legs get adjusted as well?

Have you reviewed the Isense Hybrid premiere flexhead king mattress?

How in the world would a remote fall in the crack if there are sheets on the bed? Do people raw dog their bed? Gross.
Each bed would have its own Twin sheets...soooo there's a crack.
