which one is better for overweight people? was hoping the weight aspect of the sleeper (or positions i guess but mostly weight) affects the durability of (or is affected by) the foundation/box spring?

I've never actually bought a mattress and I'm 51. Beds are free or handed down from somebody else. Marketplace or Craigslist can work. Side of the road even. You got to be out of your damn mind to think I'm paying for $5,000 for a damn bed! Seems like it's a scam because they're always going out of business or something......

Getting ready to buy one but not this one at this price. I am using an incline topper now and have been for about a year and you will have to get used to sliding down the bed and waking up to scoot back up. It has helped though but my sleep does suffer from waking several times during the night.

I have a new Stearns mattress that has a hump. The Stearns rep says it normal, without seeing it. So I asked for photos of a normal hump to determine if the hump is “normal”. No response so far. I’m lost on what to do as the new mattress has a hump?

What's THE BEST FLIPPABLE FIRM/XTRA FIRM LATEX mattress?

We invested 4k into this mattress & by year 5 both our backs were killing us in the mornings. They would not honor their warranty! I will never buy a TP again or any of the expensive mattresses. Total ripoff! After much research we are buying an innerspring mattress with the least amount of layers possible on top & adding a nice latex topper to it so we have control of replacing whichever of the sections fail. This will be much much cheaper up front & in the long run. Your information on this channel has been very helpful, thanks so much!

Can you name so latex hybrid mattresses. It’s exhausting sorting through hybrid mattresses with latex and hybrid latex mattresses.

Thats funny, that mattress was assembled like a mile or two from my old work place. Used to drive by there all the time in my work truck. I wonder if they assemble just there or they got regional plants all over. Edit: wiki says they have 18 plants across the country.

Thought sleep number was multiple air coils individually adjusted for proper pressure. This thing is a blowup camping mattress with a foam coffin.

The more I watch these videos the more hopeless it seems to NOT get ripped off by buying a bad mattress.

I've had my purple mattress for almost 4 years now. Sleeps great, but it is starting to fall apart. the purple grid section has separated from the foam on one side causing the edge of the bed to look like it's splitting off. Hope they will warranty it, because like others have mentioned, these are not cheap mattresses. Shouldn't be falling apart 4 years in.

Thank you for the info! Can you clarify a question that has me confused. In other videos you've said that the more layers, the more chance for failure sooner. But here you are advising to add another layer to increase durability. In my head, your explanation of "a bed is only as good as it's weakest link" means that the double sided construction concept will be of no use if one side has already lost some of its original properties. Can you please explain the difference. Thank you!❤❤

After spending the past 4-5 days reading about mattresses I'm finally going with a latex hybrid. That was quite a rabbit hole, glad it's over.

I bought the Octave Horizon mattress and I could not be happier. Not the cheapest option but for someone who has a lot of pressure points that need reiief, you can't get better and the support is unreal. You sink in just a bit and get cuddled in and then you feel the support. I absolutely love my mattress! 🥰

I was looking at hybrid latex mattresses on your website. Can you explain me what's the difference between Del Mar firm and Del Mar soft. Is it the spring layer which has different firmness levels or is it simply latex layers will create different firmness levels. Do you use the exact same springs in your soft and firm models. Thanks

The B L C K system was a pretty big failure in terms of longevity it seems. The newer gen kinda fixes most of the issues, but only time will tell. It's a shame though, the coil system is fantastic.

All they need to do is add a zipper to the casing. Allow people to mess w/ the inner layers and youd have happier customers. Not to mention people can troubleshoot inner issues more easily.

We bought a beauty rest black hybrid Gladney in march of 2016 and like you said after the 4th year I was sleeping in a hole. My wife would say come closer to me but I would be half in the hole and half out of the hole and I would fall back into the hole. The bed sucks along with the so called warranty. All they said was that is normal wear and tear. It is obvious from what you are saying less fluff from the coils is better and no stupid foam encasement. I think if they used meaningful less fluff it could be a better bed? If I see the word hybrid I run. Do you guys think the Sterns and Foster lux estate medium is a good bed? I would try a mattress by you guys if I was in CA. I wish you had a store here in DFW TX.

Just bought a Dreamcloud hybrid for my 17yo son - it's supposed to be medium firm. It's twin and it has no support on the sides or top and bottom. His old bed is literally able to support the Empire State Building compared to that one. What should I do? We have to keep it for 30 days...

I don’t know if you know but the stomach empties on the right side so it’s important for side sleepers to sleep on their L. Side. So the stomach contents won’t empty so easily , you should not sleep on a fill stomach. The problem I have is the top will be elevated and I slide down in my sleep and still get reflux, this condition is called GERD. The bed you showed would be better if it bent at the knees and the lower legs could be elevated to minimized to prevent ankle and legs swelling in heart patients.

I have the purple bed with the 2 inch purple grid in king size. It is by far the best bed i have ever slept on. This year is going to be 5 years and im going to have to warranty it. But I tell you what there is no other bed that i would buy. The cooling of this bed is top notch and feels so airy . It maybe expensive but i sure love it.

You guys make me cry. This mattress is now 2700 bucks. I never laid in a more comfortable mattress but can't afford it. I went to the store and tried it. Here you guys are ruining this pillow top avocados mattress. sinful.
