- Performed at the Alabama Theatre in Birmingham, Alabama on 11-18-17. This was at the end of his main set after playing and singing for over an hour and a half without a break. Amazing for 71 years old.
I was there 3 years ago today at the Alabama Theater in Birmingham, Al on the front row. It is one of my all time best memories! Thank you for posting!
He did it in Albany, NY, too. Saw Him.
Man like a Shaman ritual . Brilliant.
Goodbye John . Rest gently. ❤
So bitter sweet seeing this. Thank you for so much Mr. Prine.
R.I.P.
God damn I miss this guy😢
John, it was Paradise then and now you're in Paradise forever. But it's breaking my heart.
It Is So!

I saw him do this on the Tree of Forgiveness tour in 2018. I swear, I levitated up to the ceiling of the Warfield Theater in San Francisco.🤗🥰🤩

Hahahaha...lol....A man who really enjoys. Tears of happiness and goosebumps for me. It's a big old goofy world.....

This man is AMAZING! See you in July at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre!
super star
Joyful yes indeed. I have begun more to think at my now 78 that that is the key to life itself, to strive to obtain and maintain a positive even joyful outlook on everything. I think John has done that throughout his whole life and I see that with every one in his audience that he talks to.
A sincere quality of genuine friendliness.Joyful yes indeed. one of the best of all time!
Is that Florida theater? I was there too and saw it live.
He got old, and he even died, but he never really grew up. Childlike in the very best sense of the term all the way!
He's still got pep in his step there don't he 😅😅
