Gonna say this here cuz it wasn't spotted on stream, the big Cleric also affects a lot of Theros Gods, which have a lot of "As long as your devotion to (color) is less then (number), this God isn't a creature"

"Heavy of Keldie" has a cool concept behind it. It is a powerful object that can show the future for someone, but upon use, it changes fate so it will not happen. If the person with "Heavy of Keldie" wouldn't be so inquisitive, the future that he saw with this artifact would actually take place.

Super late here, and I don't know a lot about MTG, but I like this version a lot.
From what I understand, discarding cards is super strong because of graveyard synergies. Exiling the two cards you discard makes those synergies worse. You can still use them before the beginning of your next upkeep, though, so maybe there is some combos there. Still, even if you combo with graveyard synergy, those combos will be a lot worse than normal.
With this version, you only draw 3 and discard 2 every other turn, unless you use graveyard synergies. Plus, you need to exile your entire graveyard before it even goes off once. For 2 mana, that seems a bit weak to me. I'm not sure if you can make it 1 mana at that point, or if it'd be too strong then. I'm not familiar enough with MTG yet to judge that.
Either way, mechanically it's a very interesting idea, even though I'm not sure how it'd be balance wise.
      Edit:
Ah, I forgot about the mill 3. That means you only get the effect once every 3 turns. Honestly, I think it'd be cooler without the mill 3. In any case, the idea is a cool one to explore, but maybe not in this exact wording. Just has some interesting ideas to it, like a lot of these AI cards do.

Selesnya giant doesn’t make sense, but it’s interesting design space. What if it made you exile 3 cards from your graveyard, and you only mill and draw/discard if you can’t. That way you only get to do the draw thing when your graveyard is empty, which it actively works to fill up by dumping 5 cards in there whenever you activate that effect

Sakashima of Agrim is completely busted.
Bare minimum, it is four mana for four energy at sorcery speed, which is fine, energy decks probably have stronger ways, but this is one that also can be reanimated.
Once you get an anthem effect in play (effects that give a +x/+x buff to your side of the board), you suddenly have a massive threat that costs energy and ramped you halfway there.
What gets even crazier is if you can give it undying before it hits the graveyard, which Mikaeus, the Unhallowed at the minimum lets you do. This has Sakashima come into play, generate 4 energy, dive into the graveyard, pop back out with a +1/+1 counter, give you another 4 energy, and then you can just drop one of you opponents into the dumpster unless they have a stifle effect. While destroying an opponent isn't a templated ability, I think it's reasonable to call that equal to "target player loses the game".

Regarding Guardians (the planeswalker first card)
+1 tapping all enchantmrnts is generally as useless as it sounds there are some niche cases, but anything that lets you make everything enchantment, also makes it affect your own things, so no good.
-1 all it does is let you search for a plains to your hand, planeswalker abilities are only activated once per turn, and only as a sorcery, that means that the opponent never has priority to activate it. Even if they could do so, you are the one controlling the permanent so you would search for the plains.
-7 lets you draw 11 cards, + it's power (thinking of cards like the sword that turns walkers into creatures, etc.) You may shuffle up to four cards but that's any from 0 to 4

    • @danhendricks5896
      @danhendricks5896 ปีที่แล้ว

@@danhendricks5896 as it is written in the card, and due to how planeswalkers work, since it's a permanent you control, and it can only be activated as a sorcery, other players don't get to activate it. They can't use it outside of your turn. And during your turn, you have to do something to pass priority, which means either, the stack is not empty, or it's not a main phase. Of course you could errata it, to make it work like that.

A better way to think of it is as if it had threshold for 3 cards in grave that triggered the mill then draw 3 and discard 2.
Basically in wording that is actually normal it would say:
At the begining of your upkeep if there are at least 3 cards in your graveyard that could be exiled by this ability mill 3, draw 3 cards then discard 2 cards.(the 3 cards that could be exiled are not exiled)

Kinda late in commenting on this video.... but for Mage's Fury, I imagine my Satoru Umezawa EDH deck would benefit greatly. Since, after taking out one player with Blightsteel Colossus, other players will make sure to have blockers. But if I get it back into my hand at upkeep, I can use small unblockable creatures to ninjutsu it in again. It's slow though. But I imagine broken if not dealt with and allowed to repeat.

With blockaters eyes, you combo it with treasure hunt and have like 100 lands in your deck so you draw all of them and that's the only other card in your deck

Overever makes sense, in a really stupid way.
"You get {E} for each player with the most night creatures you control."
First, figure out how many "night creatures you control" each player player has. Your opponents can never have any "night creatures you control," so they'll always have 0. Your count is just the number of night creatures you control.
Next, figure out which players have the MOST night creatures you control. All your opponents have 0, so if you have any night creatures, you have the most. However, if you have no night creatures, then everybody has 0, and therefore everyone has the most "night creatures you control."
Now, you gain 1 energy for each player that had the most. So if you had the most, you get 1 energy. If your opponents tied you for the most, you get an energy for each player in the game.
So really this gets you 1 energy for each player in the game, unless you control a night creature, in which case you only get 1 energy.

39:29 nope, "if you would" is a replacement effect not a triggered ability, that literally does nothing since it replaces an event with the same event.

You need to chose targets for a spell before it enters the stack, so it can't counter itself because when you chose the target for it, it is not a legal target.

Mages Fury could be really good for affinity decks or LTB effects. I think a Circuit Mender would be disgusting with it.

    Plague Shaman:
"If you would gain life, you gain that much life."
Could it mean that effects cannot change the amount of life gained?
Let's say that there is an effect that says "whenever a player would gain life, that player gains half that amount instead rounded down", and this would stop the reduction to take effect?
    I don't know, I'm not a judge.

So Noxoius Avenger doesn‘t die when it blocks do i see this correctly? Opponent Creature dies before damage is applied.
