Wow!! That's one fantastic looking car museum. A big thank you to you and Jenny. Great content. I must admit that Capri 2.8 injection caught my eye, too, as well as the GT6 😍 It's a must visit for us after seeing that. Thanks again ❤
Amazing Vlog. Thank you. I need to visit this place myself now. So many memories of my own cars and my dads. I learned to drive in 1982. My first lessons were in an Austin Allegro but I passed my test in a brand new Triumph Acclaim. I loved that car but was too young to afford one then. Later in life, I did buy a Triumph Acclaim and I ran it for eleven years. I'm sure it would still be running today had the bodywork not rotted away from the superb Honda engine. Thanks Bob x
I always look out for a Morris Oxford when you visit vintage car museums, but sadly I haven't seen one yet. It was my Dads car. He bought it in 56/57 and it was the new version with the fins on the back. I remember the real red leather bench seats and the offset steering wheel which was angled towards the drivers door. It had a chrome ring which went all around the inside of the steering wheel and was the hooter. He still had it when I passed my driving test in the 70s and I actually got to drive it myself.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo I looked at the video on the website and they do have a Morris Oxford like his in the museum. It's nice to know they have one as I don't think there are many about anymore. I know the Hindustan Ambassador in India was based on the Morris series III but the interior is nothing like the original. Thanks for suggesting I look.
The Morris Oxford was my first car back in the ‘70s. I paid £100 for it, just don’t polish the seats or you will end up on the other side of the car on a corner.
Been wanting to go for a while - lot of memories to bring back, but compared to todays cars they were rubbish, reliability & bodywork wise 🤣- did you stay nearby in your M/Home?

Loved that as my late Dad worked in car part engineering.
It's full of memories!

Ah, yes, the Triumph Honda link up. I can't think if there was a Acclaim at the museum there though?

Very similar to Jenny's dad's Wolseley 15/60 and Austin Cambridge, which are at Drive Dad's Car. Have a look on the Drive Dad's Car website.

Yes we stayed at Lickpenny Caravan and Motorhome Club Site. A couple of videos earlier.
Haynes museum in Wiltshire is similar
Not been to that one, interesting. Not just British cars there though.
