Season 7 was so wierd, it is like the heretics were the good guys and the main characters were the villains.

For those who dont know and i hope this helps.
so basically rayna been marking peoples that has a vampire system (i dont know what its called) and then mary and nora found the sword but nora got marked by rayna so rayna can see where nora is going so rayna chased them but mary feels bad so she tries to siphon the sword destroying it but then nora didint want mary to go away from her life so nora decided to siphon with mary but mary wants nora to stop or she'll die and then they drive as fast as they could then the phoenix sword is fully damaged and exploded making them both die and rayna is extremely mad because her sword was destroyed (i dont know more and i can only explain just this)

That’s interesting, so the sword and the mark is magic. It can find any vampire once marked. What kind of sword can do that? A magic sword. So you cant siphon the mark? I guess it was for the plot uk? Bc i feel like they could’ve siphon the mark. Vampires heal from any damage so the sword is definitely magic and the mark itself is magic.
Valerie tried to siphon the mark you can’t.
I think the mark was immune to magic just like Rayna, although it actually makes the Sword being able to be siphined quite illogical and just for plot.
When Beau was first marked by Rayna his healing factor stopped working. It's like it nullifies magic all together.
@juanmanuelmoramontes3883 I think another "plot grab" was when Valerie used magic to find Stefan through Rayna and when Nora and Bonnie located Rayna through the sword. So either she's immune to magic or she's not they really confused me with Rayna Cruz.

What really annoys me about this, was these girls never got their happiness. They spent years in a century where they weren't accepted and it was illegal, and they finally got their time to be accepted in a century, and they died.

when they die, nora recites the poem of the Passionate Shepherd to his love written by Christopher Marlowe in 1599 ,the reply to that poem which is The Nymph's Reply to the Shepherd written by Sir Walter Raleigh in 1600 was recited by nora when mary louise proposed .
The thing that i find intensely artistic is the inverse order of the use of the poems ,the writer(s) first use the reply of the Nymph in which she rejects the shepherd's appeal. She desires things which, one may believe, are impossible to attain: (ever)lasting youth, a regenerative love, permanent, timeless and inconsequential joy. However, although her request may seem paradoxical, her wish is not an unrealistic one. She seeks true happiness throughout her lifetime, i.e. her desire is that these qualities should endure during her stay on earth with the shepherd as her companion, and this is a promise he does not, or is unwilling, to make.
Then when they die everything comes full circle , the themes of the poem : carpe diem and the immediate gratification of their sexual passions.
Love in the May countryside will be like a return to the Garden of Eden. There is a tradition that our problems are caused by having too many restrictions, by society. If we could get away from these rules, we could return to a prisitine condition of happiness. The "free love" movement of the 1960's was a recent manifestation of this utopian belief. This alone combined with how their love was portrayed shows how unconditional their love was ,this death wasn't a loss for the fans,personally i see that it showed how a great love will make you move mountains just so the other person survives and when mary louise wanted to sacrifice herself ,she knew that by doing so she would give her lover what she (the shepherd )was unable to give her even though they were together for a 133 years,their falling out was a broken promise ,but when nora states that life isn't worth living for without mary louise (the nymph goes away with the shepherd and hopes for the "free love '' seeking timeless ,permanent joy even in death.

This is the most emotional and well directed as well as acted scene in the entire series. If I had to choose anything other than this scene, it would be Damon and Stefan being reunited after Damon returns from Kai's Purgatory.
