The thing both threats have in common is that you genuinely don't know what Klaus will do that'll be more gruesome than the already horrifying threats he's made and undoubtedly carried out. I love the contrast between Klaus and Elijah. Klaus is so theatrical and unhinged, and elijah is so calm and sophisticated but equally as brutal, all while retaining some degree of moral ambiguity. Their dynamic practically carried the originals
