i have the SRI-2 and like it. also picked up a pair of Fluid Audio FX50 studio monitors and like them and like the coaxial design. wide soundstage and larger sweet spot.
"Look, a brick and mortar music store like back in the day!" Hello: Btw, the"4k" switch on the SSL is a feature only on the interface. Its to emulate the sound of the older 4000 series consoles. It's actually a feature only on the interface. I hope that I explained that correctly. Thank-you.
My initial impression (get ready for flowerly language): * SSL sounds bright and a little one level in the dynamics. * Rubix: darker, more bass, more dynamics than the SSL. Initially I liked the SSL more but this one grows on me * SRI 2: by far the most "3D" sounding and detailed sounding of the group, but a little "busy/intensive". Is the gain of the SRI 2 up? It just seems louder than the others. Some gainmatching via ReplayGain would help to minimize our tendency to prefer the loudest signal.
I just bought the fluid audio sr-i2 and have had it for a month with yamaha hs8 and beyerdynamic pro 900x and I just love it ❤
I am thinking about buying it, is it good ?
