Wow!!!! Thank you for caring enough to write up intro background and give us time stamps! This miraculously-pulled-from-the-scrap-heap bit of TX Music history is precious. I dig hearing the funk music influence in the pedal steel soloing there at 0:08 - 0:58. Using a T-wah or some kind of envelope filter ( a la Bootsy Collins, etc) but also throwing in these neat little syncopations. Please somebody post his name. That is a very hip and skilled steel player....
@@J4ckieD okay I’ll explain. I doubt there is more from this night. The tape cuts out during red neck mother which was always the last song of the night for Ray at this time in his career. I have posted the first night as well. I found these along with a ton of other tapes, and there are many to still got through. Who knows what is left
