I was married to a musician in the 70s and he sounded like Willie. We were so young. I used to sit by the stereo turntable for hours and write down the words to Willies songs for him. My hubby took me to one 4th of July picnic. I love Willie!

I was probably at this concert. I lived in University Park Dallas and could walk to McFarlin Auditorium. I was a pretty big pot headed stranger back then.

I saw him at Doug Weston's Troubadour in Los Angeles a few weeks after this show. It was Halloween night. I was up front about 6 feet from the stage. It was the perfect Willie Nelson show. Two drummers and the original band.

Willie is so great he doesn't need to tune the guitar. Soulful and great show. Inspirational in every way. I just have to gigle when he tries to tune it when he has to much fun.

I was wondering about that A flat. Then he said aid " I got six strings out of tune" usually he gets kinda bright and I thought it was funny because in this case it was full down a half. Kinda surprised me , I went to write you Nelson's then Willie CALLED it out. Here's one to accident or design. Oh I forgot. That's 2 things. Great music and great people. Thank you.
