@@nick0164 ive seen more roush's than saleen's, but i wish that the saleens were true single cab short bed instead of what they actually offered. The roush nitemare f150 stands out and some of the later roush trucks as well.

As an owner of one of these, let me set this straight. This one is supercharged. It still has the stock Saleen intake on it. When these trucks came out in 2007 they could barely do a burnout. JDM Engineering tuned it and later it was added to the 2008 trucks as standard. The stage 1 kit is essentially the “fix”. The previous owner of mine would floor it and it would backfire and not boost properly. Colder spark plugs, bigger MAF and intake helps a ton. Then a smaller supercharger pulley and tune and it’s much better. Also, these trucks really need 4.10/4.56 gears because each wheel and tire weighs about 100 lbs.
The Saleen supercharger sits low and doesn’t even look like it’s there. If you look in the video, you’ll see the Saleen text written under the intake, which is part of the supercharger. When that stock intake gets replaced you can see it a hell of a lot easier. But if you are expecting to see a typical twin screw sitting high on top of the motor, this one isn’t it. You can also tell because the alternator is relocated and the mechanical fan is usually replaced with the electric fans. There’s also the supercharged badge on the side under the s331, which no owner would throw on their S331 unless it actually was. Not to mention the damn whine! 😂
It just doesn't sound quite right. Don't get me wrong, it sounds good. I just think that extra wide H-pipe in front of the mufflers might have something to do with it. At least you can hear it now, and that's a good thing. One thing is for sure. It's got nothing on a Raptor.

Borla, Corsa, Carven, may have sounded better, deeper.
This is a sport truck it isn't offroad oriented like a raptor.

Truck definitely has a blower...At 8:24 to the left of what's clearly the alternator and ABOVE the water pump is where the supercharger is sitting slightly offset. I know its kinda blended in with all the other plastic but its 100% there. If you still dont believe me google 2005 saleen f150 supercharger, should be the second image. Plenum runners are IDENTICAL. Also yes, that airbox makes it look like a stock 5.4 3v Triton, but its definitely not one.

The revs sound strangely thin, but the takeoff actually wasn't bad after he stopped trying to burnout. It sounded like what I would've expected to match the body kit and wheels.
I wonder if routing both sides of the exhaust after the cats to a Y-pipe and using a single Widowmaker 10 after the Y and then splitting the exhaust after the Widowmaker to the outlets would have yielded a better overall result.

it sounds pretty good not gonna lie not a fan at first but it definitely grew on me with drive off but tht burnout was the biggest disappointed 😔

@@HunterB738 Look up the S331s supercharger, and then go to the time I pointed out. It looks like a basic plastic 5.4 intake but you can see the snout of it just showing under that hose.
It was there, trust me. The stock airbox hides it. (I have an S331 SC)
Sound will get better with age. Very good improvement imo.

Hpipe is fine there's minimal difference in performance it's the cats that restrict it. Hpipe sounds better there is minimal performance difference between the two.

In my opinion it doesn’t sound good because of the length of the h pipe and piping in general. I’d bet if there was a x pipe into a y pipe to single exit out of one of the factory exits would sound way better
