hi Richard is it possible to replace the kick start shaft by just coming in from the clutch side of the crank case and not have to touch the gearing
Sorry for the late reply. I honestly can't remember. I will have a think about it and get back to you.
Even more late, but I just did the same. You will have to split the crankcase, no other option
