I love how, on screen, they're serious and almost nothing like they are off camera. Off camera they have fun and joke around. They're all riots! The transition from Janeway to Mulgrew, Chakotay to Beltran, Kim to Wang, etc. is just amazing. They're almost nothing like the characters. This isn't necessarily a bad thing because it just goes to show what great actors they are.
Bromthymol Blue he did pull some incredible pranks behind the scenes apparently one I think that was mentioned was using a black stuffed sock as a prop
His Vulcan character laughs in a few episodes, usually when his Vulcan mind has somehow become f*cked up. For example: in S07E16-17 "Workforce", he laughs at a lame joke after his memory is tampered with, supposedly to treat "Dysphoria Syndrome" but actually done to get him to work at a plant. See also: S06E06 "Riddles" (in which he regresses to a childlike state after suffering neurological damage from weapons fire, and is cared for by Neelix (very funny)) and S02E16 "Meld" (in which his brain becomes messed up after initiating a mind meld with a serial killer).
+Anthony Hunt They should have done so much more with Chakotay on the show. When you compare him to the other series' first officers it's just not even a comparison and it's likely not even his own fault.
I just finished watching the full series and literally got teary eyed when it ended. It was like I just lost my friends. It was a great show! We really need to thank these people for the give of entertainment they have given us.
i always feel the same, esp when i watched it when it aird years ago. star trek is dead, cause discovery neither picard cause any family warmth feeling like this.
@@_pax19_ I have not yet seen Picard but I am planning on looking at it. I watched a few episodes of Discovery and it is just terrible! Hollywood is just pushing their agendas way too hard.
@@davebrittain9216 if you don't like discovery you possible will not like picard either. it's slightly better but just really just slightly and the nostalgic factor is saving it. still it's horse shit.
@@_pax19_ Janeway worked very well as a captain but Hollywood pushing women into typical men's rolls gets very tiring. Only about 2-4 percent of the population is gay, trans or lesbian and yet it has to be forefront in every frigging show these days. It gets to be way too much. It is called indoctrination!
Thank you so much for posting this! This was without a doubt a wonderful treat for me. Would have loved to have been there to ask a question myself. One part had me falling off the bed-when Robert Beltran was talking about Janeway and the monkey. He was like: SHE TURNED ME DOWN FOR A MONKEY! And the. Kate's reaction was even funnier: that was so strange! ROFLOL! I laughed so hard..if I had been there my makeup would have been RUINED!
I have ptsd and when life gets hard I relax with Voyager. It’s my safe place. I can smile and enjoy my friends on Voyager, and after 2or more episodes, I can get back to life. God bless you all.
This was marvelous. Hearing them reminisce about their time together and telling stories we would never know about otherwise was such a pleasure to watch. And funny. These guys crack me up. Voyager will always be one of my favorite TV shows of all time. I call it the comfort food of TV. It always puts me in a good mood.
YES HE DOES. I'M REFERRING TO THE ABOVE THAT HE'S A "VOYAGER ADDICT". IF YOU'LL NOTICE WHEN OTHER'S WERE TALKING ABOUT THEIR ACTING HE HAD LITTLE TO SAY. HE'S A NICE GUY BUT HIS ACTING ON THE SHOW WASN'T VERY COMPELLING.
I had the great pleasure of meeting these folks after this very appearance at space city comicon. I had all these questions and things I wanted to say, but all I could say to them was thank you. Thank you for all the time you have given me and your other fans in entertainment and keeping us looking to the stars and dreaming. They thanked me for not being a rabid gushing fan and drooling all over them, I think I responded ewww, messy with a sour face at which point we all lost it and started cracking up. They turned out to be a great bunch of folks and really fun to hang with for awhile. (edited to spell correct).
I also was just cracking up watching this video So, Thank for posting! These guys are freaking Hilarious.... What a great group of actors that are friends also. I guess that's why they communicated such a great cohesive vibe that still reverberates for us fans.
I watched a odd few episodes of Voyager when I was a teenager in high school years ago & just recently I decided to watch all the 7 seasons of the show and I'm onto the 7th season now and I can tell you I am gutted it's close to the end it's been a brilliant series to watch. I'm gutted not many people are into Sci Fi's and Star Trek these days and they'd much rather watch X Factor or something but hopefully on Netflix we'll see a new future for our Star Trek franchise as Star Trek Enterprise was cancelled to early!
Kate Mulgrew is a wonderful lady. I met her 4 yrs ago in Chicago at my very first convention (sadly, my one and only time going to a convention), I got my picture taken with her and she was really sweet. I had injured my knee earlier that day and when my turn came to get the picture taken, I had to be helped because it hurt to walk, and when the volunteer brought me to Kate, she told the lady, "thank you, I have her now" and she put her arm around my waist to help me stay standing up. Right before they took the picture, She asked me what happened and I told her (my knee popped on me and I fell) and then I told her I felt really embarrassed because I'm not used to needing help. She told me not to be embarrassed because everyone needs help at some point. Then she asked if she would see me at the autograph signing. I told her yes (ended up having to use crutches that the medic at the hotel gave me, but I got her autograph, thanked for being so kind to me and that was it. It was the most memorable experience I ever had.
This whole thing is awesome. Tim's consistent giggle throughout ... My favorite is probably the bits from 59:05 - 1:00:26, especially 59:49 when they all roll out of their seats! But in all seriousness, this crew looks like they enjoyed their time together even more than the TNG crew. And Wang knew every episode (BTW, he hasn't aged a day!). Loved this. Watched it twice in a row. Thanks for posting!
@@Jimiriffman89 saw. Poor thing. Hope she gets better. Had a bit of a crush . Then off course 7 of 9 came along and turned the world upside down. Lolol
Yeah. That would be so awesome. Id love to hang out with Tim Russ, Robert Beltran and Garrett Wang for a day. I'd be a hoot Im sure. This entire segment is absolutely wonderful for me. And this cast will never get old in my book! They all look great to me here. A few lines here, little gray there. It adds character and pizazz I think. But I'd love to hang out with this cast for a day. At first I'd be a nervous little Nelly because they are my favorite cast in Trek as opposed to TOS which I also love dearly and grew up watching in syndication. I really wish Robbie McNeill, Roxann Dawson and Jeri Ryan could have been there. I know Jen Lien is fighting a coo coo battle at the moment. I feel for her-bless her heart! But I understand the other actors are busy. This would have been a real dream come true if I had been able to go see them in person. A fangirl can dream right?
I always had a soft spot for Voyager, still do in fact, just going to rewatch every episode again considering the time of year :-) . I just hope the new Trek program in 2017 is going to be ok.
This whole panel is incredible. I am watching it for the third time, and I am still laughing at everything. That part about Latino alien kills me every time too.
Clearly, one of the most enjoyable panels in a convention format. My actor's heart is always warmed to see some of the few who have had this kind of success, and are able to still relish the experience years after. Well done.
This is by far one of the best star trek casts ever.. they are brilliant.. on and off screen! Had some much fun sharing in their laughter on this. Truly superb! 👏👏 Thanks for sharing 👍
I didn't realize just how funny the cast as a whole really was! This was without a doubt just wonderful to watch and I so wished I had been there. I probably would have mustered up the courage to ask a question to all of them. If I had I would have asked them something like: what was the best prank that was ever pulled on set? :)
This makes me so incredibly happy to watch!!! These guys are my heroes and I love them all. Its such a wonderful, welcome nostalgic feeling watching this show. I grew up mesmerized by these people. I'm sad some of them couldn't make it to the reunion. I wish I could've been there! They are just like the coolest group of friends/family I just want to hang out with all of them!!! Sign me up for the next reunion! =) Tuvok laughing hysterically makes my day XD
Great group of people and actors who did the very best they could with the (sometimes) shoddy writing and direction they had to work with. Laughed my aft section off all the way through! Love Star Trek: Voyager as much now as i did back then 22 years ago.
Voyager is a classic in the Star Trek Genre loved by past, present and many future generations to come. Love the chemistry between these guys, it's a shame they never made a Voyager movie. It's still not too late, I live in hope.
Ok this is fabulous! I just got done watching every season yet again. And yes, I sadly did cry during the very last episode just like I did the very first time I watched it lol.
TUMBS UP , if you want a spin-off or re-start of VOYAGER ! A new show where Admiral Janeway ( in the first episode ) gives Voyager's "key's" to Harry Kim ( the new Captain of Voyager ) Where Captain Kim engages to the Gamma or Beta quadrant to explore new adventures ..... Garrett Wang ( Harry kim ) is "young enough" to pull this off ! Also Scarlett Pomers ( Naomi Wildman ) can be on this new show . Does anyone knows , How can we request this ( Voyager spin-off ) to the Star trek producers ? I really think it is gonna be a great succes !!!
They are sooooooooo funny - best cast/crew ever and you can really see how much they enjoy each other's company. So, thank you very, very much for sharing this wonderful video! :-)
I love this group. Voyager may not have been the most popular of the Star Trek franchise, but this group is so entertaining. I love how they rib each other and make jokes with each other, you can tell they are a close group.
Coleton Emr yes he is. He actually had a live feed on Twitch a couple of nights ago chatting with fans. Only a few of us were there. And I got my questions answered by him in great detail as well as him being intrigued over where I was from. For the first time in a very very long time I felt accepted, popular, part of the team and alive. It was without a doubt the best thing that has happened to me since two years ago when another fav actor of mine said my name on his live feed and answered my question. His live feed only lasted 6 minutes; Garrett's lasted 1 1/2 hours!!!😳 plus it got me through a grueling early day of errands and such so thank you Garrett! 👏🏻❤️
This is one of my favorite. Star Trek series Voyager😋😋 it's one I enjoy everytime I watch it. I've lost count how many times now. It's so awesome to see them on your video. Ty😊😊
Thanks for posting this. I have watched it over and over. I have a new love for Voyager now. I was in tears of laughter. Its great to see the cast reminiscing about their time on Voyager. It was a hoot. Thank you!!
Pheww, today I finished the whole Voyager series since I didn't have the possibility watch it at that time, it was an amazing voyage, this is the series I love best in the ST universe, Voyager is my absolute favo SF series...thanks for the mind-boggling journey! Oh, Harry went back in time, he didn't age at all, lol.
+Aetila Do you agree with Wang, like a lot of us do, that that finale's second hour was garbage? They never even made it back to step foot on Earth. It sucked.
@@mickeye6428 What?! You didn't see one tear shed by any of the crew. You didn't get to see a single crew member reunite with their families, who, for several years, thought *they were dead* Uy. I could go on, but there's a novel that was written by Christie Golden, called Homecoming. It was terrific. It picked up right at the end of the series finale. It reads just like an episode script and gives you all of those reunions, promotions and adjustments the audience deserved to see. Sorry. Agree to disagree there.
@@Bamboo4U2 Why would I want to see them cry? These are fucking astronauts, not children. They show the reunion in the beginning of the first part. You want an hour of Tom Paris and his dad catching up? Most of them don't even have family. Bellana is estranged from her dada. Janeway's only known relative is dead. The only one that would be remotely interesting is Annaka and that would be a whole episode. A TV series ends on a climax, not a denouement. A Star Trek novels are shit. Voyager has the best finale of Trek TV by far. You think that a full episode of people sitting on a couch catching up is good TV?
I can't get enough of this. I so wished I had been there! Update: I actually had the pleasure and privlege of meeting these people at STLV this year. One of the absolute BEST experiences in my entire life. I loved every single one of them. Garrett is super cool, Robert B. is a prince, literally. And i kept bumping into Bob Picardo! ROFLOL! Kate is more beautiful in person..just a wonderful woman. And the Voyager panel was the absolute best panel-I laughed so hard I almost fell out of my chair! The banter between Tim Russ, Robert Beltran and Garrett Wang was absolutely hysterical.
This was amazing and even better with the series' events fresh in mind. I'm so glad this was uploaded to fill the void after finally finishing the Voyager series. /wrist
Kate Mulgrew! Loved your book "Born With Teeth"!!! Highly insightful, tender and amusing! Wish you had spoken more of your "Voyager" experiences as, quite frankly, they mean the most to me. Hope you write many more novels as you are a gifted writer! This particular video was entertaining to me and I thank you and all the "crew" for attending! Thank you all for your attendance and I hope to see you all again soon!!!!

The transition from Janeway to Mulgrew, Chakotay to Beltran, Kim to Wang, etc. is just amazing. They're almost nothing like the characters. This isn't necessarily a bad thing because it just goes to show what great actors they are.
No wonder they needed Tim to be a Vulcan, his laughter needed to be restrained
Bromthymol Blue he did pull some incredible pranks behind the scenes apparently one I think that was mentioned was using a black stuffed sock as a prop
holy shit kate mulgrew is hilarious ad tim russ's laugh is infectious
Fun Fact; Tuvok wasn't going to be a Vulcan until the producers heard Tim Russ laugh. ;)
+David Cole OMG I LOVE HIS LAUGH!!!! Makes me smile. I Totally have a crush on Tuvok though, not gonna lie. XD
Robert Jenkins Why, Mr. Jenkins, I am impressed! O_o
+Robert Jenkins But Tuvix wasn't played by Tim.
fun fact Tim auditioned to play Gordie LA forge in tng
I'm just glad to see Robert Beltran is re-embracing the role of Chakotay again and will be reprising it in Star Trek Renegades. VERY cool!
+Anthony Hunt They should have done so much more with Chakotay on the show. When you compare him to the other series' first officers it's just not even a comparison and it's likely not even his own fault.
Agreed!!!🖖🏻👍🏻
@@davebrittain9216 I'm so with you. I'm gay and I can't take this shit...
I LOVE Tim Russ' laugh. Very infectious! And so is Kate's laugh too! This is without a doubt a wonderful panel. So hilarious!
I love Garrett Wang's George Takei impression ("Oh, my!")
Garret Wang with his Sulu impersonation-- cracks me up every time. It's the delivery of it all--great timing!
Oh I know. Whenever I feel blue, all I have to do is watch Voyager and my frown turns upside down!
I'm with you, I do the same lol

EYYY ITS THE COMMANDERRRR
oh my god I just died hearing kim doing that
What a great bunch of people: you can tell they really, really, enjoyed making the show.
This made me laugh, and it made me cry. Wonderful panel and wish I could have been there to fully experience it, myself.
I get the feeling Ensign KIM is a Voyager addict.
+Y10Q Yeah, He shows a lot of energy in these type of events. At least the 2 I've seen so far.
I love that! It has been a long time but really like when they can use specifics from the show.
HE SEEMS TO LIVE FOR IT. HE'S MORE INTERESTING AT THE CONVENTIONS THAN ON THE SHOW.
MICHGO1 he seems to me like a very down to Earth kind of guy. 😁
After having read about tensions on the voyager set..it’s refreshing to see the cast getting along and enjoying this reunion 🙂
Voyager is my fall back show. Just binge watched the whole series again. My fave Star Trek and favorite captain and crew. Good to see this.
Lisa winn wow. That's really cool.
Kate's story of her very last day made me cry!!!! Kate Mulgrew, you are WONDERFUL!!!! =)
BlinkinFirefly she’s a treasure
Seven years is a long time, for that to suddenly be over so casually would feel like whiplash I imagine.
@@pattytoler367, very sweet and touching story. Thank you for sharing.
2016 and i still love these people with all my heart.
I do too. I watch tons of Voyager on Netflix, almost daily!
I have all the episodes on DVD. I usually binge watch it so much I have to clean the discs after every season.
I thought I was the only one!! :)
me too
I just started watching this from episode 1, on Netflix. It's really very good!
*Robert Beltran’s coach when he seen Voyager*:
This “Beltran” guy reminds me of that “Beltcher” kid I coached years ago.
OMG I am just rolling in the aisles dying of laughter. I can't imagine how those episodes got made with all the jokes and such. LMAO!
Garrett Wang was spot-on with just about everything he said.
Especially about Endgame..could've shown more!
+ncisfan29 yes, that series finale deserved a third part on earth!
Great way to spend an hour watching/listening to these guys.
If only 7, B'Elanna & Tom were there too. :/
and kess
@@absabs129 the actor for Kess is a crack head lol
@@Jimiriffman89 saw. Poor thing. Hope she gets better. Had a bit of a crush . Then off course 7 of 9 came along and turned the world upside down. Lolol
Tim Russ's laugh is hysterically infectious!
I enjoyed that lots! Thank you so much for posting!
Albert's Slot Channel - Slot Machine Videos I
I haven't laughed this much in years probably. Once you hit around 45 mins or so it just becomes pure comedy gold
I need to hang out with Tim Russ and Robert Beltran
I just laughed non stop through the entire video. My favorite part was the latino alien. hahahhahahah
This whole panel is incredible. I am watching it for the third time, and I am still laughing at everything. That part about Latino alien kills me every time too.
These guys are hilarious and could have careers as comedians. Luv it!
Clearly, one of the most enjoyable panels in a convention format. My actor's heart is always warmed to see some of the few who have had this kind of success, and are able to still relish the experience years after. Well done.
God its simply mindblowing that its been 20 years. Holy smokies!! It was one of my favorite sections of Star Trek
This is by far one of the best star trek casts ever.. they are brilliant.. on and off screen! Had some much fun sharing in their laughter on this. Truly superb! 👏👏 Thanks for sharing 👍
Easily the funniest convention I have ever seen.
BlinkinFirefly oh me too. I idolized these folks as a teenager. Always wanted to meet them in person.
Great group of people and actors who did the very best they could with the (sometimes) shoddy writing and direction they had to work with. Laughed my aft section off all the way through! Love Star Trek: Voyager as much now as i did back then 22 years ago.
I miss those days. Still my favorite of all things Star Trek to this day. 🖖
"I always liked the episodes that were badly written, so I had a lot of choices" - Robert Beltran
He seems to be the one with the most negative recollections of being on the show.
@@Marchant2 I think its because his character didn’t change much which must of made it boring, They should of explored more into his character
His episodes were probably the worst. Poor guy 😄
Voyager is a classic in the Star Trek Genre loved by past, present and many future generations to come. Love the chemistry between these guys, it's a shame they never made a Voyager movie. It's still not too late, I live in hope.
Wish more of the girls could have been there....especially Roxann Dawson
I would've loved to see Roxanne here.
Ok this is fabulous! I just got done watching every season yet again. And yes, I sadly did cry during the very last episode just like I did the very first time I watched it lol.
"tinker tenor doctor spy" is definitely my favorite episode
TUMBS UP , if you want a spin-off or re-start of VOYAGER !
A new show where Admiral Janeway ( in the first episode ) gives Voyager's "key's" to Harry Kim ( the new Captain of Voyager )
Where Captain Kim engages to the Gamma or Beta quadrant to explore new adventures .....
Garrett Wang ( Harry kim ) is "young enough" to pull this off !
Also Scarlett Pomers ( Naomi Wildman ) can be on this new show .
Does anyone knows , How can we request this ( Voyager spin-off ) to the Star trek producers ? I really think it is gonna be a great succes !!!
gertjan van der meij would love this
Would love it but it could never happen with the new timeline and the inner fighting between CBS and Paramount.
Does jeri ryan show up in this@ all?
I'd love it! As long as Alex Kurtzman has nothing to do with it...
This was brilliant! love voyager and the whole cast. thanks so much for this upload!
Captain Janeway one of the best Star Trek captains ever!❤️💙💜🖤💚💛
I have loved Kate Mulgrew since seeing her in the soap opera Ryan's Hope in the 70's, and I have watched her just get better and better.
They are sooooooooo funny - best cast/crew ever and you can really see how much they enjoy each other's company.
So, thank you very, very much for sharing this wonderful video! :-)
i just finished watching all seasons and episodes of StarTrek TNG, StarTrek DS9 and StarTrek Voyager........ :)
Drexder Kogz (Points to you, accusingly) BINGEWATCHER!!! (So am I......)
Yeah that was me too. But I'm still a Big voyager fan and an Avery Brooks fan. His voice is so silky & robust , uuummmm!
Voyager and DS9 are hands down my two epic favorites. 👍
can't believe it's been now over 20 years... loved this series.
Tim Russ' laugh makes everything twice as funny
I love this group. Voyager may not have been the most popular of the Star Trek franchise, but this group is so entertaining. I love how they rib each other and make jokes with each other, you can tell they are a close group.
My question at 24:30 :) Loved meeting the cast. Garrett is so friendly and outgoing.
I loved the answer about the angriest man in the world audition. "Can we do that again but a little less angry?" LOL.
That's so awesome..getting to ask a question. I would have mustered up the courage and tell them thank you because they got me through High School.😂
Ty😊😊
I have watched this many times because it makes me laugh just as watching the series makes me happy too.
You know you're in for a good treat when these guys & girls get together. Nothing but respect & admiration for the entire cast
I love when Kate would still refer herself and the rest to their respective characters (herself as Captain etc etc)
Thanks for posting this. I have watched it over and over. I have a new love for Voyager now. I was in tears of laughter. Its great to see the cast reminiscing about their time on Voyager. It was a hoot. Thank you!!
Thank you so much. It`s absolutally great to watch these people talk and joke. I love the Voyagercast.
Thank you Space City Comic Con for posting this. I enjoyed this panel so much!
It sucked.
+Jake Jones
Personally I couldn't say that, it made sense to me...but I like the series too much so I can't judge it fairly, lol.
@@Bamboo4U2 That is totally not what Wang said. Also, Voyager had the best finale of any Trek series by a huge margin.
What impressed me the most is thst fact that they're so funny and they remember details like episode names.
they seem to have more joy than other versions of star trek when they are on stage like this
Such a wonderful reunion. Thanks so very much for posting it! But sad that Jeri Ryan and Robert McNeill couldn't attend...
This interview was so funny. I miss these people. I hope they will get cameos in the new series Star Trek Picard.
We know that at least Jeri will be making an appearance !!
The way Tim Russ laughs gives me energy, great guy.
Of all the Star Trek shows, Voyager is the only one that I bought the entire series on DVD 1 season at a time.
Everyone was a riot! Thanks for uploading this!
This was amazing and even better with the series' events fresh in mind. I'm so glad this was uploaded to fill the void after finally finishing the Voyager series. /wrist
I love Tim Russ's laughter. 😂🤣 It's the best!
Holy crap they must have had fun making this show, I love the stories of favourite episodes.
This was great! Havent laughed this much in a while.
These horn dogs all after Jeri Ryan... hahaha.
Poor Jeri. If she saw this, I bet she is cracking up.
She is used to it. If you watch other panels with her, they always do the same jokes about her... She's a pretty good sport about it, even though it's a bit cringey lol
Always will be my favorite of the Star Trek series ...
TNG, DS9 & VOY are just as good as each other. All character.
Unfortunately Enterprise was just getting into its groove when it was axed.
Enterprise is better than all of those.
