can’t wait to try the Bardstown wheated. Love most of what they do. Really went in and widened the.collection this year - had the other Greenn River releases for the first time and the Bardstown BiB which is my favorite bottle I’ve purchased this year.
I can recommend Augusta Distillery Buckners single barrel, at least the bottle I have opened this year. Yes, it's true that the nose kicks, then palate gets a lower grade.
David is on the right, but his audio is on the left speaker. Zak is on the left, but his audio is on the right speaker. I'm watching on a laptop. I suppose if you have earbuds in, then it amplifies the effect.
a setting got screwed up and we didnt know it. We did like 5 videos that night and didnt know it until people started commenting on it, and we didnt have time to re record so we went with it. It should be corrected for videos going forward
Travelled across state lines today to try and find new bottles not available in my state. Found 7 new bottles! Bonus was I found a couple store picks for the same price as my local shelfer!
It really depends on the Purple Top, I had a sourced 7yr 120/130ish proof (Bourbon Bonanza 2022) that was good but nothing special, then I had an 11yr 140 proofer (Bourbon Bonanza 2024) and it was one of the best things ive ever tasted, like neck and neck with the Hazmat CoyHill I had right after it. I couldnt be happier to take a bottle home and put it next to my CoyHill.
I love the Peerless Double Oaked... compared to Woodford or 1910 it's so much more complex on my palatte. But it's just a bit too expensive from a value proposition to keep in my cabinet. Btw, where do I get a Bourbon Kingdom T-Shirt?
I know y’all really fancy all this allocated stuff, but the Barrell Batch 36 is amazing and I can get it a Binny’s for just $79.99. There’s way too much great whiskey out here under 150 for me to even consider buying any of these allocated bottles. Great list guys!
My favorite new everyday shelter is the New Riff 8 yr. I really like the latest Penelope 15 yr Light American Whiskey but I don't know if that came out this year or not.
I'm not sure if it's new this year or just this year to me, but New Riff 8 year is amazingly crushable. Please if you live in the St. Louis area don't share this with anybody else.
I have traded as much as I possibly could to get as many RR15 as I possibly can. Better than CNF and Generations. I need to blind it with RR2002 and WTMK BiB17 to figure out if it is my favorite rendition of modern Turkey. I’ve never had the RR1998.
In my opinion it’s the best I’ve had, the others that would round out my top 3 would be MK17 BiB and RR 2003. I think the only modern turkey I haven’t tried is RR1998 and 2002.
Thanks for your thoughts guys. Did Michter's 10 not make this list because the 2024 is not as good as 2023 or was there just better competition this year?
So far this year: OF 1924 Jim Beam 7yr black Wild Turkey Masters Keep Triumph Jack Daniel’s Distillery series twice barreled rye 375ml Ben Holliday Ancient Cave distillery release
So far this year: New whiskies that I've tried - Jim Beam Black 7 yr (great mixer) - Templeton Rye Midnight Rye (not a fan) New to me whiskies - Widow Jane 10 yr (absoluely fantastic) - Wild Turkey 101 (it lives up to the hype)
Sounds like mic on the viewers left side is working and the right one is not. The left one is picking up sound the right should. I think thats why it sounds bad
mix the audio in stereo instead of splitting channels please! :) today's left/right reversal was particularly jarring, but even when the channels matched up with your positions it's still less than ideal. wouldn't care enough to comment if i didn't enjoy your content otherwise 👍

Discovered Disco 11 recently. It is unbelievable. Had a couple OFPCs that were delicious. Green River Full Proof is fantastic.
That double oak is sooooo good def one of my favorite go to’s

Audio on your videos have been weird..
David is on the right, but his audio is on the left speaker. Zak is on the left, but his audio is on the right speaker. I'm watching on a laptop. I suppose if you have earbuds in, then it amplifies the effect.
I pointed this out for a few videos now.
@@BuffaloBourbonEnthusiaststhat is exactly what is happening to me and I’m listening on my iPhone with earbuds

@@bourbonkingdom no worries! Still enjoyed the content. Cheers
Redwood Empire blowing my mind this year!😎👍
Travelled across state lines today to try and find new bottles not available in my state.
Found 7 new bottles!
Bonus was I found a couple store picks for the same price as my local shelfer!
I would add Penelope toasted rye. Outstanding rye. Cheers guys 🥃

What days have you noticed they are releasing would love t pass through and snag one!!!
For me, Found North batch 009 is pretty damn good
So jealous of you guys living in Bourbon Kingdom. Only 1 of these I have seen in Iowa and that was the Toasted Rye. The hunt continues. Cheers 🥃

you will be able to purchase real soon!
Murry hill club special release batch 4 is incredible stuff! The best thing I have had this year that I was able to acquire!
I know y’all really fancy all this allocated stuff, but the Barrell Batch 36 is amazing and I can get it a Binny’s for just $79.99. There’s way too much great whiskey out here under 150 for me to even consider buying any of these allocated bottles. Great list guys!
we like the 36 as well we reviewed it a couple of weeks ago
I would like your audio mix if it wasn’t backwards for the viewer.
it got swithed to l/r for some reason, it is usually stereo, so it is corrected for future
Guys, try the new Pursuit DO Rye that just dropped yesterday at distillery!! It’s awesome!! Let’s see a review.
I can’t believe 1924 is in that list. Just a little too tannic and grainy for me. RR15 is the bomb. Cheers!
i (David) love that bottle. It will be on my list all year!!!!! haha.
My favorite new everyday shelter is the New Riff 8 yr. I really like the latest Penelope 15 yr Light American Whiskey but I don't know if that came out this year or not.
I made my comment about the Penelope before watching the entire video
Just curious about what you traded for the Russel's 15??
A bunch of basic BT allocation to a bar owner
I'm not sure if it's new this year or just this year to me, but New Riff 8 year is amazingly crushable. Please if you live in the St. Louis area don't share this with anybody else.
Penelope 9 year cask strength is a hitter
Penelope is coming out with the Estate collection soon Another 9 yr and 2 11yrs
I really enjoyed the BiB angels ad was not expecting to. The Peerless has too much variation in batches to me.

2024 is really solid but def not as good as 2023.
So far this year:
OF 1924
Jim Beam 7yr black
Wild Turkey Masters Keep Triumph
Jack Daniel’s Distillery series twice barreled rye 375ml
Ben Holliday Ancient Cave distillery release
Your wife I’m sure has walked into the house and said
“We’re gonna need a bigger house”
Great video, David > Zak.. #Fire Zak
So far this year:
New whiskies that I've tried
- Jim Beam Black 7 yr (great mixer)
- Templeton Rye Midnight Rye (not a fan)
New to me whiskies
- Widow Jane 10 yr (absoluely fantastic)
- Wild Turkey 101 (it lives up to the hype)
New Riff single barrel store pick
Sounds like mic on the viewers left side is working and the right one is not. The left one is picking up sound the right should. I think thats why it sounds bad
that i think was the last video we had recorded with the sound issue. Futures should be fine until another sound issue pops up.hahaha
I really enjoyed Baby Jane

We fixed it for other videos, these were already done. I believe there is one more review and then fresh videos should be fixed.
Love the channel, please don’t split the mix signals into L/R it’s hard to listen to
somehow the setting got changed for this batch of videos we didnt realized it until it was too late. It has been corrected for future videos
Left and right audio channels seem to be swapped.
yeah we corrected it for future videos.
Pete and repeat I’m getting used car salesman vibes
