    Thanks for this, the haptic motors give such valuable feedback, it almost feels like cheating in a way 😂 If it helps anyone, I made a video on how to mount it the Heusinkveld Ultimates, but it should also work on many other similar pedals

    excellent upgrade..... I did this a few weeks ago to my Spanish made DC3 pedal sets. 3D printed my own mounts, I did one haptic per pedal (throttle, brake and clutch) I also put Fanatec dampers on each pedal. One can do wonders with Fusion 360 and a 3D printer. I'd post a pic here, but TH-cam doesn't have the function to post pics........... Your original post a month and a half ago was the inspiration. • @jeff3575davison
      @jeff3575davison 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@emabia72 The RR are different than the DC3 and most likely they will require the mounts for the Haptics designed for their mounting requirements. I designed and 3D printed the mounts for the DC3's myself. I only saw a review of the RR's on the Mirko Desantis' TH-cam channel, and they appear different enough so I don't think my mounts would work for you. I just re-reviewed the review and looket at the rear of the pedals. It looks easy and straight forward to design a mount for them, They have plenty of space for mounting and attachment options. I can say that custom mounts are not that difficult to design, but then again, I have a design and engineering background....... I have no idea about the Heusinkvelds, I've never seen them in person either and have no experience with them.

Someone mentioned before that iRacing intentionally doesn't share a ton of data on tire grip and temps, but I think you mentioned iRacing in the video. @@hunterernst87they have, however, they are pretty much pointless, they are barely noticeable, even less so for me as I have 4 corner haptics running, also they are activated by pedal pressure and the trigger is governed by the fanalab software not the game telemetry. I have removed them. This haptic driver will be what I have been looking for to add a touch of realistic abs trigger feedback. My haptics give good lock and slip feedback but at the point they are firing it's all to late, at that point the damage is done and the grip is gone.

    And how does this work with cars without ABS? Like classic cars and alike, are these motors capable of showing the wheels locking?

    • @chepilevski
      @chepilevski  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They can work with SimHub and give tire lock feedback and can be helpful to understand ware the limits are exactly but in my opinion, doesn’t have that same impact as it has with the abs! Usually when you lock the tires is already too late to do anything about it and with abs you can stay pretty close and activate it here and there without destroying the the turn in much !

  • @xxxjmgxxx
    @xxxjmgxxx 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Do you drive non-ABS cars? (F4, F2, F3, F1, 992 cup, etc) Any point in getting this heptic for such cars? (since no ABS is present in the car).
    Also - do you use the throttle heptic as well? in cars that have no assists (TC/ABS).
    I rarely race any cars with ABS/TC - so not sure if I'll benefit from these heptics (I have the P2000). Would love to hear your take on that dilema.

    • @WaskiLP
      @WaskiLP 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Bind wheel lock to it and you basically have the same benefit as ABS cars I would assume. ABS car = you want to get as close as you can to ABS for maximum brake performance without actually activating it -> this feedback helps with that. Non ABS car = you want to get as close as you can to locking up the wheels for maximum brake performance without actually locking up your wheels -> this feedback again helps

    • @chepilevski
      @chepilevski  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      For ABS is more optimized as I can stay very close and it can activate for split of a second without destroying my turn in !
      For non abs cars, it can simulate locks but the problem is, when we lock for split of a second is already too late to do anything about it !
      However, it can help to find the exact point of locking and polish the muscle memory movement trough repetition.

    • @Simlife101
      @Simlife101 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @SheebMaster completely different imo. I had dayton audio pucks on my pedals and all they give is virbration but to get them too kick (i have the simagic set up like real ABS so i feel a little kick and pedal literally moves but transducers to get that effect even though i turned them up high it wasnt the same no matter what hz i choose) had too turn them up too much but these simagic haptics are super powerful and even at 30% it's a lot. Also transducers use a sound card to work that causes delay the first thing I noticed was how responsive these simagic haptics are there feels like zero delay.
      If you have the funds get them you won't be disappointed.

      "The second reason is that the actuator of the Simagic haptic linear module, along with the counterweight, does indeed strike the pedal surface, giving the feet a sensation of being hit. The buttkicker, similar to a speaker, vibrates internally without actually making physical contact with the pedal surface, resulting more in a feeling of vibration."@@Simlife101

    Do you think vrs WB is more like equal to the simucube?
    And is it better than the simagic in term of the feeling of the details of the FB
    In fact, I am thinking of buying DD and I am confused what to buy
    Should I buy cheapest dd now like cammus lp8 or moza r9 and wait like two years for the simucube 3
    Or I should buy the alpha mini and see if i need more or not
    Or just buy the VRS DD if it’s like the simucube and better than the simagic
    But there isn’t many reviews for the VRS

    • @chepilevski
      @chepilevski  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey buddy, the Simucube, VRS, Simagic and Moza and Asetek are very very similar in terms of FFB fidelity! The differences are very hard to be found even testing those side by side!
      I don’t know how things can become better than that in terms of hardware!
      I can promise you whatever you gonna get and if is around 12nm and above you may never need anything else!
      Right now for example I’m driving with the Moza R16 V2 and I use 60-70% of the power and I don’t miss the Simagic Ultimate and SC2 Pro at all!
      They can do the exact same thing for me in terms of FFB
