Thank you very much, Will. It's really exciting how you converted Malizia from 5 people to 1. The seat in the middle, in the passage from the crew quarters to the cockpit, looks really comfortable. Only the holder for the monitor, the bracket above the seat, seems wobbly. It was already shaking in the video without any swell :). My tension slowly increases towards the start. I still remember waking up every morning 4 years ago and the first thing I did was see what Boris and the others were doing. All the best to the whole team of Malizia and of course especially to Boris. The main thing is that he comes back healthy.
Very well done, What a machine!!!. I am deeply impressed. The diversity of high tech products is extraordinary. The complexity of the hardware operated by software requires highly divers skill sets by the captain. And a secured redundant energy supply. 4 years ago Boris showed all these skill sets. The maintenance of the energy supply consumed a well junk of his energy. I wish the team and Boris a great time on the path into uncharted territories. We must win the race. We will win the race.
Thank you Will for the great tour of the boat 👍 & Boris alles alles Gute und die notwendige Portion Glück! Komm vor allem gesund wieder zurück und wenn dabei auch noch eine für dich und das Team gute Platzierung herauskommt um so besser! Für mich seid ihr schon jetzt das tollste Team!!! GO MALIZIA S. E.
hi team Malizia, no seatbelts on the central navigation seat, is it safe enough during deceleration while sleeping or cooking? cheers all the best bon vent!
There is a post in the coach roof somewhere where a tiller can be attached to steer the boat outside. Believe he can even attach that tiller on the same post from underneath and steer from inside the cabin.
That's interesting Will 🌎 the Chef is missing his potato peeler's? Kaptain Boris know anything ab'oat that? The mid Mast forward looking camera is currently the best shot, fish Eye facing down second place ❤ transom camera is probably going to change this 😊
What a treat having Will explain more than a few things!
We enjoyed it too! Tune in to our live show during the Vendée Globe for more analysis and insight from Will and the team ☺
I loved Boris's videos from the last Vendée, he's such a great communicator..
@@patrickcolclough2423 us too! We can't wait to see what he sends us! 💙
I hope 2028 will see you on the starting line in your own boat, Rosie in hers and Boris following up behind in his just behind 😂

i agree completely! 🎉
Splendid explanations Will, Thank you. Good luck Borisand the team.
Great tour, Will! Thanks 🤙🏻
Thanks, Will. I know the race is single handed, but I wish you and Rosie were with him. Keep safe and good luck.
Since Rosie and Will can't actually be there, the whole team will be with Boris in spirit instead 💙

Good luck, fair winds and a race which is at least as successful as your campaign: A race WE must win!!!
@@Digivoter thanks for your support 💙
Thanks Will! Very well done!
Excellent to see the modifications on the boat - since I saw the crew and the boat it last year live in Aarhus/Dk on the stop over. 🙂
Lots of changes since then!
Go Malizia! Great tour Will
Thanks guys, brilliant tour! Really interesting to see the changes since the Ocean Race! Is it possible to helm the boat from the cockpit and on deck?
Thanks! We're so glad you enjoyed it ☺ Malizia Seaexplorer does have a tiller so the boat can be helmed manually as well 💙

Love the wood panelling. Nobody has that.
Thanks. Interesting. Ref 19:41 how does Oscar detect “undetectable objects “. ?

What about the "Exit" seen inside in the front?
Always though about how you hold the tensions on the rope without winch. Never thought abou the chinese finger trap. Thanks for the explanation Will.
@@MrPanzerTanzer Glad you enjoyed it, we love sharing these little details 💙
I don't see any tillers. Is it possible to steer the boat manually if the AP fails or Boris just wants to enjoy some champagne sailing in the Azores?

Maybe I missed it but what are those black poles running from port and starboard sides?
If you mean the big black poles sticking out from the boat, those are the deck spreaders ☺

Hi Will, are there any plans for you to sail in Malizia in the near future I would love to see you and Boris out together Thanks Ken

solo, by himself - eh?
Yep
Why Portrait mode instead of Landscape? Normally, you're more professional than that.
