The mutual respect between competitors and organisers that came across so well in this interview, very much a two way relationship, is a thing that many other sports should aspire to. It was interesting and informative, whilst also keeping it simple for the uninitiated by avoiding getting too deeply into the weeds on any particular technical topic. Well done to both of you, Pip and Hubert, for being such excellent representatives of the event and of the sport in general. Great insight to another side of this HUGE event which we wouldn’t have access to & setting us up for the start of this amazing race.
