Fountain Lake Flipping for Bass in Albert Lea, MN

The summer heat is on, and so is the flipping bite for largemouth bass fishing on Fountain Lake in Albert Lea, Minnesota. No giants on this day, but some really nice fish caught with the big stick.

Hey im from albert lea but i cant really afford the nice baits like those! i got my kid and i some go fishing kits from cabelas with basic setups and stufff what do you recommend to use if i can spare a couple dollars? reminder the kid likes to lose em lol.

It's hard to beat the basics. A spinnerbait if it's cloudy and a good old texas rigged plastic worm if it's sunny.
