- From shady business dealings, to plagiarized videos, these Minecraft TH-camrs have done it all. After discovering a winning content creation formula on TH-cam, 5 "creators" surfaced to capitalize upon its success, relentlessly pursuing it to no end. However, with several thousands of videos and billions of views accumulated amongst the group, they were bound to step on some toes eventually, and many they did. This is: The Story of Minecraft's Worst Content Farm.

As a small channel that's been going for 3 and a half years, even back then, channels like Steevee making low effort videos and gaining millions of views was a huge kick in the balls
You know it's possible that stevee is actually being created by some off country company, right? It's happened before.

but technically, when you put it like that it isnt really fair, dont mistake me for supporting them, i dont condone to people stealing other peoples work, but low effort and lots of income kind of sounds like capitalism yknow the society WE live in

@@ben12355Elsagate was much, much worse than uwucutesingle. It was a large factor of the creation of COPPA. Whilst uwucutesingle just farms likes and views, Elsagate contains incredibly sexualized versions of children's character, with a large amount of fetishes.
There have been literally dozens of Minecraft youtubers who have been outed as straight-up pedophiles. I don't think stealing content is as evil as that

the thing that somewhat bothers me is that it took stevee to steal from big content creators for him to get bashed for him, despite the fact this mf has been stealing from many small pack and mod creators SINCE HIS CHANNEL WAS CREATED and then only that started making people go into other channels like him
us fighting for months to get people to notice these channels would have been for absolutely NOTHING if it wasnt for the fact stevee chose to steal from people like phoenix and mumbo
There were definitely all those things before the mumbo jumbo incident its just that this only went viral after it happened
Stevee would steal from a LOT of redstone TH-camrs like Purplers, avogaado, Lord Jon25, etc.
His downfall is basically an Icarus story, he flew too close to the sun and stole from the biggest red stone channel, and suffered the consequences

Well.. have you ever heard of TheSoul??? TheSoul is probably the biggest (and the shadiest) media corporation, even bigger than Disney and Warner Brothers. TheSoul owned some of the most popular channels on TH-cam (Bright Side, 123 Go!, 5 Minutes Craft, and so on), and they have gone to so many controversies. Smart Banana, a discontinued channel, was known for their misleading content. 5 Minutes Craft, the most popular crafting channel on TH-cam, made its viewers very excruciating. 123 Go! teach kids what you shouldn't do in very young ages. Overall, it is a very, very bad company.

None of those creators are evil. They are liars but not evil. We have Minecraft TH-camrs who are pedophiles. Even one from a lot of childhoods, so these people are far from the word "evil."
let's just hope that it just stays that way. Scumminess is not an analogous word to evil or malicious, but if they commit to darker methods, then it would be appropriate to say the latter.

I thought I was the only one that could see their obvious content farming and other crap
I usually wouldn't remember a random minecraft channel but megamanny stuck out so much that I remember it. I wasn't watching their vids at all but I eventually noticed that every single time I went to the youtube front page, multiple megamanny vids were there. There was no reason to sub because the algorithm was throwing every single one of his videos on my front page the literal minute they went up.
I even did an experiment to see how many times I could refresh the page before the #1 video in my recommended wasn't a megamanny vid. It was 11 times. I thought somebody straight up hacked youtube.

There are so many content farms on this platform that you’re bound to have them everywhere. Primitive building, buzzfeed style DIY and cooking, and of course: lazy video essays and exposés like SunnyV2!

Crazy I viewed all of this CCs except for Axol guy, never heard of that CC before and I was just another pawn from their plot of success and downfall.
While these guys are pretty despicable, I think there have been other Minecraft TH-camrs that might be a bit more *Evil than them 😂😂

Why is he getting millions of views for such short videos of nothing interesting, but youtubers who make large videos of interesting stuff get so little.

Good information filled video, it's always nice to learn what's going on, now I can avoid those channels.
I knew about all of the "creators" you mentioned except for axol. Also, its not just Mumbo Jumbo who's bridge maker got stolen. Stevee, for example actually stole from Purplers, avogaado, Lord Jon25, etc. So yah, not even redstoners are safe from content farms.
But ofc, there are many others who stole redstone builds like Skippy6Gaming, Derpy Jhomes, PrakxisTheRedstoner, etc.
As a small TH-camr with 2 channels, I worry about people trying to steal redstone builds from my main channel (not this channel).

So back when these content farms kept appearing in my recommended constantly, I noticed something odd about the comments section on several of them. There were a ton of bots commenting the same thing, but it was actually related to the video. I saw dozens of "I didn't expect the villager to do that!" Or something similar. It was so off-putting and shows a lot of their interactions were probably bots.

It's funny how most of these channels are dead now, with Steveee still uploading somehow even after the amount of hate he got, and Alexa real practically still getting reach.
I think that they should do some of those but then changing other things like what other things they can do in Minecraft, PhoenixSC is a TH-came that makes vids about memes on Reddit posts or do Coding, but when all the "logic, what's inside a.. and other things" is already done completely by another TH-camr they will just Showcase things already seen and called a Copy TH-cam Channel, but you make it extreme if they still do the Theme over and over and if you even use the SAME edits

Conspiracy theory: Mega, Stevee, Spectator, and Axol are the same person or a team, but Alexa had her channel but got hacked by the other channels. I think this because her channel and upload schedule was different from theirs at first. And why she hasn’t spoken about it? It think they did something to convince her not to talk. But that’s just my theory.
I used to be subcribed to AlexaReal for few months back then, and noticed severe decline of "quality" as time went on...
