Coming on guys, keep going, something that might help with fixing timber to concrete beams is called "all round band" you could basically strap the wood to the beams, saving drilling that can weaken them, keep up the good work..

Everything seems to be coming along nicely. When Dan was prepping the interior walls to hold the wood along the concrete beams, the actual interior looked somewhat larger than before, perhaps because of a wider angle or the camera being mounted so high off the ground.

Another episode where we see just how much work you guys do. Always learning something new! Also, there are many out there who turn decent pallets into outdoor furniture - might involve treating the wood for termites etc. I'm sure Dan you have the nous to do it!👍

More and more progress
all the time. Happy to see you are taking the time with friends and campfires that you really enjoy. The wildflowers are soo pretty too. I would do the same as you Laura and wait to mow til they're passed the pretty stage.

Use some of those pallets to grow salad stuff in, lots of ideas on how to do that on you tube, and place them at your outdoor kitchen if that makes sense! Can't wait for roof to go up! Great work, you have come far.

Hi 👋, Great to see you both working together, looking 👀 good, probably in the future you could put some timber on either side of the concrete beam and then put a piece underneath it fixed to the two pieces on either side so you are boxing the beam in, and if you could make it look rustic, Just a thought, I love the idea of the roofing coming already insulated, I’ve seen this quite a bit over in Europe, I wished I could afford to do it on my property, as I have got storm damage from two years ago, and the insurance company is refusing to repair it, I got approximately 52 bins up in the attic collecting water when it rains, The other big problem is my building is very, very tall,
Love the idea of the power pack , I’ve seen quite a few people using those off grid, I believe they could be connected to a solar panel,

Well dang, I was hoping for an update and some good news. Instead I am glad you didn't have to remove all of the tin to get the roof in shape. It has lasted this long, it would have been a shame to tear it off. You guys are learning fast and making some progress. I hope we get to see it finished and filled with smiles, happiness, and love!

Not really, just open it up and they’ll leave. Snakes aren’t really interested in biting humans, the fear is unwarranted in reality, most people who get bitten try to pick them up, which is just dumb.
@@paulb1951 Wrong. If you're too close and you surprise them, they'll strike, as I know to my cost. Just like the situation here.
As they suspected snakes were there, I would have initially lifted up the roof panels with a piece of wood to have a look, then they'll strike the wood, not your hand.

Don’t want your opinion, I know they strike under certain circumstances and know that men who try to pick them up are the majority of victims. Morning Dan and Laura, Dan why does everything seem to come back to food with you example was that digging implement there was something else as well last video or is it just a ploy to see who’s taking note of what your saying? 😂😂😂😂😂
Just a thought but could you set the wood into the wall and using some lime mortar to bed it in position then you could screw you new roof to the wood then and you’d have a nice line of screws on the top there would be nothing to stop you screwing the wood to the wall where possible instead of the lime mortar? You’ll soon be out the tent and into your home I’m glad you got a sponsorship deal with Bluetti they seemed to be everywhere at one point but you hardy see them sponsoring anyone of late. I’ve often thought about getting one as I’ve never known a house for the power to go off as much and one of them would be great instead of using my generator which is noise and we are always low on petrol for it. I would of taken the roof up you have the drill . Form up the top of the wall pour a concrete cap with 5/8 inch anchor bolts and fasten a treated 2x6 all the way around to give you a solid sill plate ain't never gonna blow off in a storm . I would drill down into the stone and the concrete cap that will assure it won't ever fail
