- I'm gonna show you every start animation screen offered on BimmerCode. I'm also gonna show you everything you need to buy before you can start coding your BMW with the BimmerCode App, and a quick easy tutorial on how to do it.

You dont start it just give it contact. Press start button but dont hold leg on brake
There any way to always have that animation come on when starting the car? Because at the moment, when the car has been unlocked for a while it doesnt show up or will be interrupted

Hi, thank you for the video. Do you know how is it possible to enable start-up animation on Drive? I could choose an animation with BimmerCode, but Drive system starts so fast, that there is no time for animation, it goes straight to the main screen. Is it possible to fit in time for animation to play?
Mine does the same thing. It will not show the animation every time. Only when the iDrive has been in sleep mode.
@@NWAuto thank you for the prompt reply. Sorry to bug you. I never saw my Drive going into sleep mode to be honest. How to put Drive in Sleep mode please? could not find anything relevant in Google
You have to get in. Turn off the idrive my holding the volume button down. Then start the car.

I haven't used the normal version so I'm not sure which features you get without paying. You can download the app and try it out.

you can the same thing be achieved by purchasing a vgate icar pro ble 4.0 plug in?
Yeah it says on the BimmerCode website that you can use the Vgate Wifi adapter too.
The Bluetooth adapters are a much more convenient way to connect to ur F30. I keep mine in my glovebox.
Hi, how can i add other languages with bimmercode to display, there is only english and korean
does this work on a Bmw F21 2019 eith the normal screen
It does work for the F21. I'm not sure if the screen size makes a difference. I looked on the BimmerCode website and it doesn't say anywhere that screen size would affect it.
So it has to be in airplane mode?
No matter what I set it to, it still shows the original bmw one. Any idea on a fix?
I never had that happen. Does it go through the whole coding process without any errors?
@@NWAuto yup, goes through coding with zero errors and then when I go to turn on my car. Same boring bmw startup
@@WaleedWahidi Yeah thats weird. At this point the best thing you can do is talk to a shop that does coding and ask them what might be causing it to not update. Do the other coding features work?

I was coding 2 1series with the M and it worked well like in your Video. Ob my 4 series F36 It o only shows the M without that Road Animation. I dunno why

DOES THIS APP HELP WITH TURNING OFF TIRE PRESSURE, LIGHT MALFUNCTION & AIRBAG NOTIFICATIONS
someone stole my tire sensors off my car and the tire pressure notifications are super annoying.
I've never tried to do something like that with this app. I'd probably just replace the sensors
yall can do it with a simple Bluetooth obd2 adapter. no need for all the cables unless you are tuning a car
Yeah I have both. I generally prefer using wired connection because I run into less connectivity issues. But its all personal preference

Go to Headunit and select "warning at start-up" and set that to not active. I think this is the message you're talking about.

How were you able to shoot videos of these start-up animations?
These should only be seen in a short moment immediately after opening door when the car is in sleep mode but you seemed to be able to play one after another in a row.
I had my phone connected to the OBD and used the Bimmercode app while recording this.

Do you mean you could have iDrive play the animations via Bimmercode?
All I could do in the screen was just to tick among options and there was no such measures to run demos in my app environment.
@@kikuchiyo555 I didn't have a demo option. But when I selected the startup animation that I wanted and applied the changes, it would do the system reset and thats when I recorded the animation playing.

I used Bimmercode like a month ago and had the option
I changed to M but then it doesnt show up, first time it did then goes directly to the menu, without M welcome screen?
Thats normal. The startup animation will only display when the iDrive is still loading. I would usually get it right after turning the car on in the morning or if I haven't driven it for a few hours.
For some reason, every one I choose just shows "MINI"... has that happened to anyone?
That is weird. I haven't had that happen. I would try to ask BimmerCode support. Or post in a forum/Facebook group.
Can it let official BMW reject to do maintenance as this is happened to me in BMW Egypt
Just they found logo MINI as startup Logo
I brought mine to the dealer and had them work on it with a lot of bimmercode settings enabled and they did not reject it. I think they should only reject it if bimmercoed caused some kind of damage to your electrical system or software. But let me know what they tell you

I think if the iDrive system is out of sleep mode and ready to be used then it will skip the animation. Some people code a start delay on the iDrive and that makes it show up most of the time.

You can download the bimmercode app and try connecting. It will show if its compatible
I coded in the “M” animation on my 2018 F32 (iDive 6). How do I get it to display?
It doesn't always play. Does it display the first time you turn your car on in the morning?
It did not display this morning. However I drove about ten minutes and parked. Went into the DMV to get my new plate. About 5 minutes later I got back in the car and it displayed.
From what I’ve seen in numerous videos, its somewhat random. I guess it will just be a nice surprise when it happens. Cheers.
@@gregmorris2022 I think the startup animation is sort of like a loading screen. If everything loads up immediately then it doesn't need to display it.

You would need an app like Bimmerlink for that
Why didn’t you just use a $30 Bluetooth obd2 adapter. There are like 10 of them and you don’t need any messy cables. I have the Veepeak adapter. And there are many others that work just as well.
I got the cable for free or else I probably would have. Do you just leave it plugged in all the time?
@@NWAuto No, after coding I'll take it out. I don't want anything to interfere with the operation of the vehicle while it's running normally. It comes in a case and I just put it in my glovebox. Although I don't think anything would happen without the app open.
