@@GeckoDays about the charge pipe, while it’s safe to get one and i will probably get one if i am tuning my car, didn’t BMW improved the charge pipe on the B engines? so i’m just wondering is it still a must do?
@@TheBimmerMan I changed mine in a way to prevent any future break or cracks as we’re going to be going up in hp. My roomate and I installed his Catless Down-pipe as well with Cp on his 340i b58.
I did feel a difference in throttle response as well with noise, I went with ftp charge pipe and I have yet to install the boost pipe but came with package, highly recommend .
Is there a way to code off the outdoor temp is 37° or below? That is an extremely annoying alert/chime which goes off all the time in the North East.
There is but you have to use Expert mode for it.
To start in sport+ you can actually just put the igniton on, then go sport+ then star the engine. Not ideal if you are doing it every time obviously though.

Make sure that it was correct with the daytime backlight “inner and outer part”, at mine it turned on the breaklights at all times with that option, so that could get dangerous ;) I had to switch one of them off, but I don’t remember which one it was.
More than likely it is the outer. My outer lights were on by default so I only turned the inner lights on.
A few things I found helpful were coding fog lights on with daytime running lights and with high beams. Just like the look - No I’m not an asshole at night. Also did Angel eyes 100% brightness. Looks clean.
I did door lights on in reverse also…doesn’t make a huge difference but looks good at night. I added tire temp to the tire pressure screen which is pretty cool to see. Also reduced my right mirror tilt in reverse. Just a little - not a big deal.

I got a 328 because of your build didn’t know it wasn’t fast how I thought. You made it seem fast lol but it’s a great car and fun as hell to drive. Glad to see you back in the F30

Bimmercode says it does not allow coding after having installed Apple CarPlay. Do you know of any workaround to be able to code after having installed an Apple CarPlay MMI? Thanks.
I have MMI and code. Just turn off CarPlay and WiFi on phone temporarily.

My 2022 X4 right away I drove at the dealership with 20 miles on it. Turn off that annoying Auto stop and add other mods.

You are using the starter less often which does preserve the life of the starter alledgedly, but can increase your fuel consumption at stops.

Last night while car was off and parked i was listening music and after some time car just started showing errors like "bonnet open" and few more errors about steering, brake etc.. I know nothing is wrong with any of that, and bonnet was not even open, after i restarted car i got same errors once again, third time i restarted car and turn it on everything was okay and i didnt see any of the errors again.
I was reading on f30post that some people already experienced this and they couldnt find solution but probably problem is low battery. Which have logic becouse it could go low at the moment i was listening music and then system just freak out for few seconds.
Should i worry, did anyone had this problem? So far my F30 drives just fine.
Is there any setting that adjusts/effects the electric steering "weight?"
I asked a BMW technician about this when I first got the car, there's no way to make the steering heavier. Best you can do is go in iDrive and set the sport mode as chassis only, and if you want the performance go in sport+

You’re gonna need to be connected to wifi and a map program, so best option would be to download CarPlay but with that you would always need to set a destination in order to see the speed limits.

not an F30 (mine’s an F48) but ill definitely look at doing these. i keep telling myself to give it a try but never got around 😅 didn’t know Kies makes an adapter though, if it also allow tuning on top of coding i guess that’s the one to have
The kies adapter is the MHD adapter marked up by 30$ and rebranded lol.
