yes..,tho there's an even earlier version by a group named Buffalongo.. which featured the songs writer Sherman Kelly

I've heard the original by Boffalongo and King Harvest"s version. I never heard this UK cover. Apparently, High Broom recorded it before KH.
Did it chart in the UK?
Boffalongo and King Harvest were from Ithica, NY, USA
