- Super compilation of over 650 C64 games in 86 minutes.
The Commodore 64 count far more than 10.000 games, but here you can have a little chance to find the game you don't remember the name since i tried to pack togheter most of the famous ones in a single video. (still missing a lot, i know)
Click on a title to jump to the respective gameplay or longplay of the game. The feature works only for around the first 400-500 titles since i reached the maximum allowed number of youtube annotations.

Commodore 64 was such an amazing piece of tech. one my favorite gaming devices!
I agree, being a C64 man myself. However, I also loved the old Atari 800
We grew up with zx spectrum, c64, Amiga, Atari, Sega, Nintendo, PC to pentium ..... We lived the story of computing. Today, everything on the Internet, everything is paid, and there are several advertisements for the product you buy. Thank you for reliving this best era of computing.
what an absolutely superb video!! As a 56 year old it brought back so many happy memories!! aahh, good days!!
What a great game compilation. I can only imagine the amount of time it took to load, play, and edit each game. Great job, and thanks!
nice video.
Not really that long to load if he did it using emulation, since you can put VICE in warp mode.
C64 made me the man I am today. A Kick ass warrior of life and a total madman
Cliffhanger! And his brother "Coat" 🤣 Loved this game so much!
Most 8-bit compilations have like same list of games, like Giana sisters, Last Ninja, Pitstop II, Commandos, IK, Turrican, Bubble Bobble, Spy vs Spy, Summer games.....
Thank you for putting in many incredible games, many seems to already forgot, like Quest for tires, Ikari Warriors, Asterix, Renegade .....

0:27 Renegade

1:26:12 Wizardry
1:26:17 Booga boo
1:26:26 Uchi Mata
Hands down, this is the best C64 compilation video on youtube. Music is perfect, visuals are perfect, excellent work my friend. I'm sorry about the low count of views, maybe you should paste some links on boards and sites about C64, i'm sure fans would appreciate this video. I hope you will make another one, obviously your collection of games is huge and your taste of choice is very very good.
Walk through memory lane
I miss my C64!! :-(
Same here. I also miss my Amiga too though :(
RIP Commodore
HardWarUK me to I still play regular HYPER SPORTS, SPY VS SPY, SPY HUNTER, COMMANDO, PIT STOP 2, lol you just can't beat the classics 😉👍
Scott Breon you can still get Amiga 500's pretty cheap 😉
@@wutang6020 Yeah, but I live in Canada, and the NTSC versions are really hard to find, and when you they aren't that cheap.. I suppose I could buy a step-up converter, but I also live in a small apartment, and don't really have the physical space
@@scottbreon9448use a emulator
I love these recollections, the music are awesome and the memories of games. A perfect mix!
River Raid, Int Karate III, Boulder Dash, Wizard of Wor, Yie R Kung-fu, Em Hu Soccer, Commando .... etc. Realy miss them to much
There was not International Karate III, do you mean IK+
::sigh:: ahhhhhhhhhhh love me some c64. my father got his hands on 2 long stacks of floppy discs with various programs. i'll never stop loving video games. that was back around 1986.
I want that time back 🔙
Thanks for the time and the passion of your work, great work! thanks from italy
This is massive! Thanks for your work. Outstanding! C64 FOREVER!!
Loved the c64 best days ever bk in the 80s
Some of these c64 games till hold up to this day, even graphically - a nice minimalistic form of art
The C64 version of Nebulus/Tower Toppler comes to mind. It can almost pass as a 16 Bit game
19:05 The game is called "Eye of Horus", not "Eyes of the Hour" in case anyone wants to get it but can't find it. ;)
Great video. Nostalgia kicked in watching this. Gonna break out my C64.
I guess with that many games it's hopeless... the games of my past, out of the box my father gave me, are forever lost. I can't remember any names and I get the feeling that they were just too obscure :c
Cool 👍 ... I remember Airwolf... And the Music is awesome...
Dude! Duuuude! DUDE!!!! That was awesome! Nice music choice and editing. I hope you will make volume number two! There is a lot of games you didn't cover.. I'm teasing you of course, but anyway, thanks for your effort and time to spend for making this video. Really appreciate it! But come on, I hope you'll make another one!! Jeez you're the guy. Something like three hours long!! Have a nice day dude a thanks again, nice work!!
Wow i just realised that the music from international Karate is the theme from Merry Christmas Mr.Lawrence.. only took me 30 years to figure that one out :D
Ha! I never knew! Never seen the movie, but really a cool fact! :D Thank you for telling. :D
were you working solely on that for the thirty years? or have you had some other projects during that time.
A lot of C64 Sids were in-deed sampled from other artists. Jarre and Vangelis were sampled quite a lot in fact
you sir are a genius. brilliant.
LOT OF GREAT EDITING WORK - ALL THE BEST !!!
Your channel is awesome my friend!
back then a c64 cost more than a ps4, xbox and switch combined!
LOAD "*" ,8,1

My personal Top 5 C64 games:
Sid Meyer's Pirates!
The Last Ninja
Gunship
International Karate+
Winter Olympics '88
Good list, but I preferred Last Ninja 2 to the original...for both music and gameplay
My list goes like this... (random orfer)
Defender of the Crown
Pirates
Silent Service (don't think I've played a submarine simulator that has ever touched it)
IK +
LN2
Awesome trip down memory lane. But, you forgot a few: Bristles, Zork I, II and III, Beyond Zork(C128), Plundered Hearts, Pitfall, Ultima I, II, and III, Pegasis, Castle Wolfenstein, Wolfenstein 3D, Wasteland, The Bard's Tale I, II, and III, 4th and Inches, Day of the Tentacle and Golden Pond. Those were the ones that I had. But, like you said. You can't put all 10,000 games on here. And, Tandy is starting up again. How funny.
your thinking 386 not C64
These games all need to be put in order of a top 650 C64 games and the whole of the internet has to agree with the list.
Great games ..The great c64 ..
Check out our programming tool Nexus Developer Cloud at www.duologic.se
I need to buy a C64 on EBay or somewhere... Never seen it before in real life, though
Per i giovani di oggi:cosa vi siete persi!!
Bei tempi!
57:14 AGENT USA!
How many games did commodore have I can remember my dad pirated at least 1400 had a book alphabetical and the disks catalogued in drawers by number. Some disks had 20 games on one. Load "boot" RUN 14:45
anyone remember a game with a "ninja bunny" with a sword..kinda set in the an old bruce lee movie atmostsphere
When I was child I had every c64 games.
That's impossible since there was well over 30,000 games on the system...smh
Went through the whole video, trying to find a game I played as a kid, but can't remember its name :(
The camera in that game is vertical, similar to the one in Alcazar: the forgotten fortress. The game starts by someone kidnapping your kid, and you are basically looking for your kid, trying to save him, inside what seemed to be a deserted mansion, going through different rooms, each represented by a separate screen.
"Eye of the hour"..? "Eye of Horus"!!
Illuminati confirmed...LMAO
Awesome video, thanks alot :)
I have some tricks (how to play some of the games) still in my memory, omg.
Great comp
Just out of interest, what is your favourite commodore 64 game?
amazing comparition. best games... ;-)
25:51 - heaven bound looks a lot like creatures. Maybe it was made by the same guys.
omg!! samurai warrior usagi thats it!
load was F3 or F5 ? Anyway i bought C64 recently, but no cassetes :( Is there any way to record games on them from pc ?
Nostalgia 🥰
inmortal computer
Yup, the C64 and the Speccy were my two favorite 8-bit computers
sighs... cannot find the game I was looking for... It was a man painting walls (Mr. Do/Burguer time style) going for the number 2 now...
😍
is there a street fighter one
Sabrewulf, holy, shit I was insane lloking for that game name, for years!!! shiiet THANKS

it seems that C64 was the best gaming platform in the 80's
Why not leave ALL the sound on?
10:30 aknakereső (HUNGARIAN like me)
I'm looking for a game on the Commodore 64 that was actually made by my mom
however the publisher ripped her off at the time and took her game as their own creation
the game supposedly has sort of streaks of colors that the player can control and make patterns
I really want to find this game but the publisher changed the name, if anyone knows this game please reply
+yoyoyoshio267 was it psychedelia i have a video of it on my channel if you want to check it out.
@@thesman32 I doubt it was Jeff Minter's Psychedelia, since that started on the VIC-20
I really need help with this, im trying to find the name of a c64 game i used to play, its a spaceship game with a similar view to r-type or a usual side scroller but it was slow paced and you only had one screen at a time but you could go to new areas by flying off the screen in either direction, the ship was blue and looked like a typical "rocket ship" shape, the controls were you used thrust but didnt stop straight away you spun your ship around and used thrust to move etc...
I wish i could be more specific than that but i've looked through lists of c64 games and cant remember it i'd need to find a screenshot to go THATS IT!!...
If this sounds familiar please lemme know.
john tucker I think it was a game called Metron
Unfortunately not, but it controls very similar to that only the graphics were allot better, it was most surely a later c64 release.
It was probably a little home made game on a compilation that wasn't a big published release.
I think the game was called Thrust. great game and music. was released by Mastertronic I believe.

Wow, the C64 was such a piece of shit.
And yes I had one 30 years ago.
So the C64 is a computer?!
Funny. With 0.064 MB of memory and 8 colors.
Technically it had 16 colors, but could only display 8 on a screen at the same time
sys64738 restart or sys64739 screen freeze ;)
Cool You all can freely make copies of all my videos I upload to TH-cam videos search engine even VBS skits church activities and magic TV shows and Rubik's cube puzzles and magic TV specials
ーお
i want those times back
You and me both buddy 👍🏻😉
get a c64 then.
Thank you for the effort. With the second video I found many games which I used to play but forgot the name. Hope I'll find more in here.
who the fuck said Disslike........ spectrum owners maybe, c64 v spectrum the row still goes on huh
I had both a Speccy and a C64 and I liked this video...
Must have been a BBC Micro or Amstrad owner. LOL
The C64 version of Tetris had some of the best music I've ever heard in an 8-bit game
Wow, so many of these games I'd never seen before (despite being a big Commodore 64/128 fan back in the day) and so many that I'm sad that I missed out on! Thanks for the video, it's awesome.
Same here. I think the full games released was way over what anyone would get round to playing all of them.
Got so many, i can't really say what's my favorite, probably one of these: Fist II, Renegade, last ninja II, revs, enigma force, Microprose soccer. Enigma force is for sure the game i have played the most, played it everyday for over a year until my tape wasn't able to read it anymore ^.^
Ciao ho letto ciò che hai scritto sul coronavirus in un video riportando dei link. Posso chiederti se sei credente o ateo? Scusa se ti sembra inopportuno
Microprose Soccer, yes! That was the only C64 game I used to own which was a cartridge. All the rest were tapes.
Nice call on Hell and Back.
finaly forbidden forest / too much nostalgia ./ great list much respect
My favorite too
I know that fast progress is often made at the start of things. Also sometimes a huge leap just comes along that moves things forward immensely. But look at this shit. These games are like 30 odd years old. Look at games now. Where the fuck are we going to be in another 30 years??
I don't know, but games haven't changed much in the last 10 years, yes they got better graphics, but gameplay haven't changed almost at all and in most cases, it got even worse.
@@Rattopaz Oh yeah, the experience hasn't gotten better, probably even worse and the graphics have gotten way better. I'm thinking more in terms of the "interface between game and our experience" has been overall improving on average.
A lot of games are becoming more like realistic simulations with what's possible, and sure maybe it's implemented poorly a lot of the time, but on average, things are improving.
Like, I was very into RPGs in the 80s and 90s, so when more games started incorporating RPG elements, I liked that. Now more and more games are implementing survival/realism elements. I like that too.
Jonnet ei muista
If you own these collections, you hold one great collection of creativity and efforts of SOOOOO many talented individuals..
I’ve got 2 c64s and 2 amigas both with loads of games. Am I living the dream?🤓
Yeah mate you are.
What is the point of having two of each loaded with games? Is it a disk-space issue or you’re just low-key bragging cuz most of us don’t even have one lol?
Lighten up bro and yes I’m bragging 🤪
@@dirkdiggler69 Damn I miss my 8 bit hardware... everything after was just overkill.
Hello, someone can you tell me the name of the video game for commodore 64, where you used a toy car, I think white, and you had to save a female car? There was the possibility to literally build the picture of your choice, putting stairs, bridges, etc. But I do not completely remember the name. Thanks to anyone who answers me
Dragonskull was terrifinyg... Especially when death did arrive on gameover
aah these flickering stripes...
I am here looking C64 diamonds in the rough........ Found 12 of them in Part II
3:56
@Rattopaz Awesome video!!
Could you *_please_* post the complete games list with starting times?
I will when i have a some time to spare
Thanks a lot in advance. I know it is a tedious task, but extremely helpful for finding titles.
Thanks to you I've found the real name of the game The Way of the Tiger. 😍 I loved that game.
great video, brings back a few memories...am I the only one who noticed obvious ripp-offs of many nes games-or was it the other way around ?
Hard to pick a fave but I really liked Dan Dare.

some games introdued by cutscenes without gameplay - what a point?
As a big fan of the c-64 games I really like your work! Keep it up like that, pal !!!
IK+ was the best fighting game at it's time. Used to be Way of the exploding fist up till then.
Game at 13:35 is Fire Ant, not Pang. Still a great video though.
16:37 Basically every Muse song, but a decade ahead of its time
where is a good place to find an emulator and c64 games?
Epic compilation, with even links to long plays! WOW!
so neverending story c64 game thats sad
Fort Apocalypse was also known as Endless.
Damn. Nostalgia hitting hard.
3:02 Sorry for bitchin' but that's Creatures. "Torture Trouble" is the sub-title of Creatures 2.
Nice vid anyways!
Thanks for the clarification, i will provide to modify the title immediatly
Oh, you got me wrong. The game in your vid is the first Creatures.
You should just remove/cover "Torture Trouble" since that's Creatures 2.
Also, if you don't mind:
35:19 is "Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge"
1:02:31 is "SW: Return of the Jedi"
1:10:17 is "Harvey Smith Showjumper" or "Equestrian Showjumper" in the US
1:14:33 is "Hypa-Ball"
1:19:33 known as "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles"
1:20:23 is "Kane 2."
1:21:46 the correct title is "The Living Daylights"
1:22:30 is "The Blues Brothers"
1:23:33 is the second Die Hard game: "Die Hard 2.: Die Harder"
You are absolutely right, thanks again!
commodore 64 was unbelievable machine! so many great games
True, but there was an awful lot of "shovelware" too
Like the C64 ports of Chase HQ, Cisco Heat, and Hard Drivin'
