- ALL C64 GAMES (ALMOST)
CAVEAT: There were around 10,000 games for the C64 so it is not possible to do a video of every single game (the video would be 24 hours long).
This video includes most of the classics, hidden gems, budget and terrible games. All in all, around 950 clips.
There will be missing titles!
Anyway, hope you enjoy!
ALL C64 GAMES... except for the thousands that are missing.
Thanks for watching. I'm slowly working on a sequel and have around 6,500 clips. Some need re recording due to poor quality and I want as many as possible to have CRT scanlines - make them look really good. It's going to take a while though.
And there is still games being added every year until now! Cheers for the video though. I'm looking for gems I missed. There's always more to explore on this system. 10,000 commercial games is not all there is. There is even a lot of "sh*t" produced what could be considered early homebrew, but they also have hidden gems. I'm guessing a full library could easily be double the amount, probably much more, if you count in all the crap and tech demo's from the demo scene that contain a "game" and what not. Regardless it's a platform of many mysteries and gems to be found I'm sure. Covering "ALL" would be an impossible task. But the clickbait works I guess 😂
Now you have taken me back to my teenage days in the wonderful and joyful 80's, as if it was yesterday, time really flies....Nostalgia
@@ssdivizion thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it.
Great video, I watched it all way through, many fond memories mixed with some hidden gems! 😀
Thanks for watching. Well done on getting through the whole video 👍

Excellent video, well done. C64 games hold a lot of good memories for people, myself included.
Thanks for watching and your nice comments. I enjoyed making it. The C64 holds a special place for me. We got it for Xmas 1984. Choplifter on cartridge - instant load - awesome.
Really awesome video, even if Eliminator (one of my favourite C64 games) is missing. Great Job! :)
Thank you, much appreciated. Yes, I know there were some great games missing but I didn't want to make the video too long.
just found this great video today. Absolut fantastic! So many flashbacks of my childhood. Thanks a lot for creating this video!
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it. I recently uploaded another C64 video - 7,000 game clips, you might like that one as well.
Correct title: *A Few C64 Games* 😉🤣
Incredible work done here, excellent and thanks for the memories but even more the education. I think I recognized less than 2% of the total and you admitted its only 10% of all that were produced never mind type-ins, BBS postings and wherever else. You can't tell me the C64 wasn't the greatest of all time, just look at how many were influenced into programming given these artifacts.
Thanks for your kind comments and for watching the video. The C64 was fantastic and holds special memories.
oh man. archon, boulder dash, bruce lee, impossible mission, and toy bizarre bring back C-64 memories. :)
Thanks for watching. They're great games :)
I pray for a re-run of my childhood.
Amazing job! So many great memories... 😌
Thanks for watching and your kind comments!
Loved the commodore 64. I managed to get a c64 emulator running but couldn't get the controls working. I may need to try again. great video
@@GregWilson635 thanks for watching. I loved it too! If you're using Vice, go into preferences then settings, joysticks and select your controller. You have to connect the controller to your PC before loading Vice.
@@mattflin5171 Thankyou very much I will try that :)
Nice video, thanks for sharing! There's so many classics on the C64. I must cross reference your hidden gems with my OneLoad64 games collection, which now has over 2000 games included. ;)
Thanks for watching and your comments. Nice collection!
You tried them all.
Love it, but honestly I wouldn't mind 24 hours long video, you could do more parts. I would even give each game more screen time. Also random order of games instead of alphabetical could be nice don't you think? Like the viewer can't expect what game is next - for example, all Batman games will be nicely distributed among the other games and will not be in a row etc. And removing that ".mp4" from the text label can't be hard :) Anyway, great job and thanks!
Thanks for watching and for your feedback. The random order is a good idea, maybe I'll do an expanded one in the future. I note the comments about the .mp4 but glad that you enjoyed it.
Frantik Freddie actually isn't from Europe, it was developed by Commercial Data Systems, which was a company based in Toronto, Canada. In fact, it was released in the US/Canada a full year before it was released in the UK by Audiogenic Softwarer
Thanks for the information, very interesting and thanks for watching.
Sadly I saw many games not listed on here, some I know existed but don't recall their names. But the one I did recall was Fungus
Great video! Thank you so much for that 🤩👍🏼
@@dannylior1 thanks for watching. I know there are a lot more C64 games and I am working on an expanded version.
1942,batman, bazooka Bill, Bomb jack, buck Rogers, ana balt, chase HQ 2, dragon ninja heb ik gehad ❤ Goonies was mijn lievelings spel
Mikie en Rambo was ook een lievelings spelen
Out run met de Ferrari testaroso ❤
So many great games. The top 10 form my childhood would have to be... Lazy Jones, Ghostbusters, Zork, Zack Mckracken and the Alien Mindbenders, Might and Magic, Castle of Doctor Creep, Temple of Asphai, and Champions of Krynn. So many great hours wasted on those games.
That's a great list! They were great days. Thanks for watching.
Shame every c64 game ever is not available for download as a huge collection.
I agree. You can find large downloads (Internet Archive). I'm working on a follow up video with about 6,000 clips.
This was a godsend helping me find cherished games from my childhood.
What a system! Long live the C64.
Glad it was helpful! Yes, it was a fantastic system. Thanks for watching.
@@mattflin5171 Subbed!
@@fl00d69 thanks!
This is great! Any chance you would make a part 2 some day?
Thanks for watching. There's always a chance!
love those good old 8 bit games.
Me too! Thanks for watching.
Excellent Video!!
Just one thing. I wish Game release year was added to Title.
Then it would be PERFECT!
Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes,. that would have been the icing on the cake! My DOS games video has the game release years if you're interested.
@@mattflin5171
Thanks.
Around 10.000? In fact there are around 17900 games for the C64! 😊
You're correct! Thanks for watching.
there is definetly now all c64 games :)
I was looking for "the second world" from Magic Bytes ;)
No it's not - wasn't sure what to title the video at the time. If you want more, check out my recent C64 video that has 7,000 clips - I'm sure that game is in there! Thanks for watching.
We played a game called "Hyper Biker" but it's hard to find videos. I wonder if it went by another name? It was a BMX side scroller
Best Compilation ever...
Thanks for watching and your kind comments.
Much better games than i remember. First one i played was Motor Mania, Christmas morning 82 or 83 i reckon.
Thanks for watching. Great days! Got mine Christmas 84. Choplifter on cartridge!
@@mattflin5171 cartridges were expensive, International Soccer and Gorf were the only two I can remember owning.
@@tazzatamania yes they were, I had International Soccer as well as Lode runner and Choplifter.
Anyone know a game where you’re a mouth and fruit is coming at you, which you have to eat. But if you eat 3 lemons you throw up
Not off the top of my head. I'll let you know if I discover it. Thanks for watching.
Spaceinvader One
Plaque attack?
Or probably it might actually be Fast Food
@@kerrimurphy6299Fast Food for the VCS. It’s not lemons, they are pickles, which look identical to eggplants but are green instead of purple. You actually have to avoid the eggplants.
Plaque Attack is the one where you are a tube of toothpaste inside a mouth and need to protect the teeth from all junk food.
Impossible Mission 1 and 2 .. Burger Time .. Zack McCracken .. Q-Bert .. christ I'm too drunk .. that Epyx offroading game .. whhhyyyyyy TH-cam, whyyyy!!!?!!!
Thanks for watching, hope the hangover isn't too bad!
Thanks for the great memories..
You're welcome. Thanks for watching
Time stamps are much needed here!
Minotax, Zulu and some other games missing
Thanks for watching. Yes. Some games are missing as per the description. The video would have been 24 hours long otherwise lol. I tried to include classics, unknowns and some terrible games.
I don't think the Ninja Turtles footage was C64. That game looked a lot worse.
Some great games featured though:
Turrican
Turrican 2
Batman The Movie
Star Paws
Airborne Ranger
Hero Quest
Myth
Dan Dare
Aliens
Tusker
Barbarian 2
@@windsweeper8002 thanks for watching, you may be correct. I'm working on a follow up video with 7,000 C64 clips!
Dear friends, maybe someone can help me find a c64 game from my childhood that I vaguely remember :) what I remember and what makes this game stick in my memory is the first mission was driving a car while second level was shooting game where the character we saw from the side as in contra. was the player walking through some warehouse? this change of game mode between levels stuck in my mind. does anyone know what it could be?
Can't think of the game but you might want to check out my recent video - 7,000 C64 game clips. Thanks for watching.
Lots, but definitely not all.
True, I'm working on an expanded version!
Some of these look like ZX Spectrum versions
That Artic shipwreck game 9:00 🤣 And 11:14 That is Gridrunner.. Not Attack of the mutant camels
Thanks for watching, noted about Grid runner. You should check out my latest video - 7,000 C64 clips.
Would that be around 750 games in total? "Almost all games"? I have thousands of C64 games.
@@felismeres78 it's around double that but I take your point. I did put this in the description. I'm working on a follow up, got around 6,000 clips so far but a lot need rerecording to have scan lines etc. Thanks for watching.
PSI 5 Trading Company .. Accolade Comics .. Bruce Lee .. Karataka .. HERO .. BC's Quest For Tires .. Hardball .. anything Epyx ..Dr J vs Bird .. Defender of the Crown .. Space Taxi .. Battleship .. Indoor Sports .. Test Drive .. Yie Ar Kung-Fu .. River Raid
Ok nice, now do one with actually all 10k Games in it 😁
I'll have it ready in 2 years! Thanks for watching.
C64 was way better than Atari XE
Excuse me, these are not all the Commodre 64 games, you forgot to include many more, you would need a 3 or 4 hour video. That if the video is well done.
Thanks for watching. I did state that in the video description - the video would be 10 hours long!
I look for a strange game from c64. There was some egg, a dragon with a club, pregnant woman and a skeleton with horns on helmet holding axe. There were some logical puzzles that i couldn't solve. Sounds freaky? Yes! That's why I want to see some playthrough, but i don't know the title. Anyone?
I can't find the games from my childhood.. are there any games here that they have also made available for Europe only?
Thanks for watching. Do you remember much about the games? Might be able to help if you can describe any of them. Thanks 👍
I just found it, it was called James Pond
@@Killua88.9 I remember that one, glad you remembered!
thanks for this video

So many games were missing so it's not ALL C64 games!
Yeas it's not even close actually.

Umm...
This may have just beaten Wolfenstein3D as the first 3D game !!
On Commadore 64 !!
Very true! Thanks for watching.
My games I made aren't on here.
XD
Cool, what games are they? Thanks for watching
Mr. Angry?!?
Yes, I'm working on a follow up (currently at 6,000 games). Mr Angry is included! Thanks for watching.
SHOGUN missing, big game.
I haven't even started this video "and im not going to" but i know categorically that these will not be all of the Commode 64 games
I didn’t see it. I’m looking for a game where lava is going towards buildings and you have to use this jet to land on top of buildings to rescue people then go back get the rest before their building is destroyed by lava
It sounds like you're referring to a classic Commodore 64 game called "Rescue on Fractulus!" In this game, you control a jet and your mission is to rescue stranded pilots from buildings on a planet's surface before the buildings are destroyed by lava. The game provides an exciting challenge as you navigate through the treacherous landscape to save as many people as possible. -A.I. CHAT GPT
Didn't see much of Automania..
ATF? (Advance tactical fighter)?
Caveman Ugh-Lympics?
Where's Ship Of The Line?
Thanks for watching. Couldn't include every game as it would have been a 24 hour video lol
2:12:18 there´s a finnish one.
I didn't notice that, thanks for watching.
What about SHOGUN?!
Thanks for watching - yes I may need to do an update where I include a lot more games - it may be 12 hours long though!
Awesome!
Thanks for watching!
I LOVE C64 ❤❤❤❤❤️ FOREVER ❤❤❤

Now where's the download link of all the ROMs?? ;)
Thanks for watching. These can be found easily online. Google is your friend!

@@markdillon5494 I'll give that a shot
enduro racer?
Army moves?
Where is Karnov?
I remember a game where you had to avoid jumping balls of various sizes in a tunnel or pipe. The balls were of different sizes, were colorful and jumped at different intensities. You had to go through them and jump into the pipe to get lower into the next tunnel. I can't find the title of this game anywhere. Something like "Pong"
1:32:50 - M.U.L.E. we played for hours. 😎
Great memories, thanks for watching

Hey, I'm looking for the name of the game.
It's 3d. First person view. You sit in the cockpit in the machine which is like a tank and You have two sticks in front of You. Anyone?
Battle Command
Battlezone
You must change the name to "Almost"
Thanks for watching, yes this was more of an overview. I'm working on a follow up, 6,000 plus!
highnoon?
Arkanoid!!!!!!
620
Gothik?
If it's not doable to do all C64 games, then why call it "ALL C64 GAMES" ??, also why are games from the UK called "Europe", when you have split off other European countries on their own, you do know Spain and Germany, are in Europe, right? And apart from several landmark games missing, quite a few have wrongly been credited to "USA", when they are in fact from the UK, sorry ... i mean "Europe".
Thanks for watching and for the sarcasm.
A lot of people seem to like it so that's good enough for me. It's an effort to showcase a variety of C64 games. I could have called it 'A good selection of C64 games' but it doesn't have the same ring to it plus it wouldn't have got the views (I'm not monetised, just a hobby).
@@mattflin5171 it wasn't sarcasm, they were all valid points, you're title kinda exaggerates a bit, if you were upset, that wasn't my intention, the production values on your work are very good, take the critique with a pinch of salt, it's not personal, I was more puzzled by the misinformation, than upset at it. Move on.
Un sogno ❤
Thanks for watching.
C64 Gamebase has 30000 games in the database and still growing to this day with every release so plenty of room for an expanded video. So this isnt all C64 games. I understand you're trying to get views and the video would be 24 hours long but please change your title. Its blatant clickbait and no-one likes that.
ALL C64 GAMES (ALMOST) ?? then video should not be titled that? just saying
Fair enough, hope you enjoyed the video anyway. There is an updated video in the works with circa 1,600 clips.
