- Halfway through filming our latest update, the phone rang and it was Mat Armstrong! He wanted some advice on rebuilding the engine of his latest project, a Ferrari F430. It's always great to chat with Mat, so we decided to leave it in the video - along with our weekly workshop update!

@@REPerformanceUK Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Ferrari F430 (and 360) uses titanium conrods made by Pankl of Austria. I hope Mat knows to treat them with due care.
Mat, don't keep saying things like: "how to cheat the dealers" (other video, but I think you'll see a comment here). Say the same thing positively, like: "How to help enthusiasts".
You're getting big enough now, to be somebody that a business/group will go after because you have a large audience.
There are a lot of cunts out there, son; especially when it comes to money.
I know you wear your heart on your sleeve - as I do - and that's what 'we' love about you. But be careful.
Anybody with an audience, has to play the game. You don't have to kiss their arse, but don't rub their faces in it - they will be watching you.
Keep up the great work, I love watching your videos. I really look forward to them.

I saw a 570 do the widescreen by the bonnet flipping up the cannonball last year. Apparently there is no secondary latch so very easy for it to happen.
I have a VIxen in my workshop, quality bit of kit. Not sure about having in the general workshop though! Unless you wait 15-20 mins after using, every time you open the door you will end up with water and media over your floor, which will inevitably make the workshop dusty over time.
You should have a lot more subscribers. Your knowledge of engines is fantastic

Honestly, I was laughing like an 8 year old and clapping my hands hahaha when it's on the dyno.....
looked a bit like the nightmare scene in Terminator II hahahaha fkn unbelievable, and absolutely wonderful.
I've recently started to study a copy of my car's engine. I drive an Audi A4 B7, 2006. I know that's not very 'much' for some people, but it means the world to me and I had to work very hard to get it. I might post videos to help other owners who - like me - wonder how it all goes together. But I learn a lot from watching videos on youtube. You're right up the top, you are.

Hi boys nice vlog I was hoping you might have an idea what’s wrong with my car. It’s a 2001 Audi S6 after about 25 miles it starts missing then cuts out once it’s cooled down it fires up and drives great but once it gets warm again it cuts out I’m pulling my hair out trying to sort it spent £3000 so far with different garages and it’s still there any ideas would be appreciated 👍👍
I was going to advise Tavarish to contact you with the Mclaren engine. Too late he's already done that. He was talking 12 to 1400 hp. Maybe that is with the electric too. Great video guys. See if you can nick a cool half million subs from Matts channel.
Every time Tavarish gives an update on that McLaren I just think he's more and more nuts for buying it.
