Thanks Thomas I have a ZVE-10 coming soon and found your channel whenI was looking for advice on accessories for it, very informative, liked and subbed 🙂👍🏼
Nice! Depending on your budget, check out the Sirui sniper 16mm f1.2. I just got mine and tried it out for my most recent video and really love the look (other than 2 short moments of autofocus hunting)
Thanks for the info and congrats for the video, Thomas! Now I am eager to get a cage, and the Leftfoto seems to offer plenty more holes and I guess that means more versatility. Personallty, I would like it even more with no wood colored handle, but I understand it can be detached, so no problem at all, and I guess could even paint it. What does concern me is the pics of its top side + a comment on amazon of a guy swearing the cage completely blocks the power switch, so the only way to use it is with some kind of small tool. And the truth is, looking at the pictures, he seems right. Could you share your feedback about it? How do you power on/off the camera? Anything to be considered? Thanks!
Great video, and also like the blue gradient lighting; what light are you using for that? I'm currently debating whether an Aputure MC will be enough to get the background light effect
A lot of great tips in your video Great Job! About the NPF accessory, from what I could gather and please correct me if I am in error The NPF is basically an external power bank. So by utilizing a USB - A to USB - C cable the result is maintaining the charge on the internal camera battery correct? But the camera cannot be powered via the USB - C inputif the internal camara battery is removed ?
Correct yeah? It needs to have a battery inside the camera whilst powered over usb c. The alternative is to use the d-tap port and put a dimmer battery in it
Great video, super interesting and with a real not sponsored feel. Im looking for filters but to protect the len, its been mentioned on several videos that its a cheap way to stop scratching but what to buy that makes limited difference to the light etc. Is there a special name for these?
It does look fun - this is also an awesome mindset for new creators to think about how did you contact I’m getting what’s in your brain into footage Appreciate your insight!
Thank you much for making this video! TH-cam recommend your channel ❤ and just subbed! I use the Sony zve10 for my TH-cam channel! I’d love to hear some tip on how I can improve! I will be definitely upgrading some things!😊
Looking to buy the Mist/VND filter for the ZV-E10 and I don't believe the brand you linked makes a filter small enough for it. Do you have other recommendations?
I’d recommend getting a larger one and purchasing things called “step up rings” that will adapt it to your lens. That way if you get larger lenses you don’t need to buy a new filter
Cover your sensor sir this is a family show. 😖 Also yes, cage is a must for big hand use. The ZV-E10 was clearly crafted for the Japanese schoolgirl hand-size market.
Pretty great content, but you should make a video with a cage and accesories with a microphone. The camera looks great, but filmmakers would be more useful a cage withall that we need. Thanks for your content
@@thomasjmcclure does that fit the zve10? I’m new to this 😅.. I’m just looking to have an angle like you have here… basically a TH-cam set up to talk in camera and have some background to it..
@@dougiefresh009 not without an adapter from Sony E to Canon EF. It’s designed for Canon. I don’t know if I’d necessarily recommend it for Sony, I haven’t tried it for Sony with adapters
VND filters really change the look and vibe you can get from pictures and videos. A cheap way to get a totally different feel.
that mist VND effect is one of my favorites for sure!
Was very informative and delivered very well. Keep it up🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Thanks, Thomas! I did not even know some accessories that you have shown existed. Thanks a lot, very informative.
I just got a rig cage from Sirui, its really sturdy! Can't wait to build my rig around it!
Awesome, I was looking for ways to plug a bigger battery into the camera and this was great
👍
excellent video
Excellent Videos of ZV E10
Thanks!
Have you tried using a power bank to power the camera? I was thinking of trying that. Great video!
I use a powerbank and it works like a charm
Hi Thomas great wee video , cage is a must I’m thinking of getting the ZVE10 for my channel - talking head, lense Sigma 16mm 1.4F, cheers Liam

Nice vid, dropped a like. Nice to see the channel growing. Congrats 👍
Thanks!
Do you still recommend the ZVE10 in 2024? Or the a6700?
I just bought it
First comment and first like

Ulanzi cage is another option for this camera.

Thanks! I’ll be work on a video this week for 5 tips for better footage from the wee zve10. I’ll get it out asap 😊
Muito bom mano! Thanks!
I’ve dropped the camera with the small rig cage
The camera was saved but the cage was a bit bent.
Cages definitely do come in handy. Glad it survived the fall!
Neweer makes a cage thats a lot thicker for the zv-e10
I’ll have to check it out!

У вас очень хороший контент
What lens do you use to capture this video talking about the 5 accessories?
It’s been a while but i think i filmed this on a canon c100 mk ii and a sigma 18-35 f1.8
